<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Well considering the fact that one is 13 and the other is 14 its not that unbelievable that these kids are getting mad or frustrated at all the negative criticism. Imagine you have a 13 year old brother and he brings home a B on a test on a subject he sucked at. How do you think he would feel if you said to him , " You fail at life, you didn't get an A". Its not as easy as "don't let this **** hurt your feelings" as it should be more of a morality on your part. It isn't cool or funny to post pictures or make fun of their attempts. </div> Although some people have said blatantly cruel things to both of them, they have recieved thier share of support/encouragement as well. The fact is that they tend to soak in more of the negativities rather then focus on the advice people give them. And you mentioning the "getting a B" example proves my point exactly. If I'm telling them NOT to take this seriously, that this is a MESSAGE BOARD, and that they're not in school, they're not being graded on everything they do, shouldn't it be relatively simple to comprehend? The ironic thing is that Umair keeps saying that he himself sucks and laughs at himself yet when other people bring that point towards him, he gets mad. Everyone has thier limitations and boundaries...keystyling, freestyling, any form of hiphop is going to generate heavy interest and it takes self-assurance to do so. If you're going to crack, regardless of your age, at a level as simple and as non-practical as this, then I feel sorry for you. If you're afraid of people ridiculing you, don't enter a rap tourney in the first place. If you really want to rap, you'll get better with time, negativities don't matter. Once again, a keystyling battle and any reference to life evnts is totally irrelevant.
Can people stop making fun of me and vc. We are yong and getting better. You guys should know that it hurts people's feelings when you guys do them wrong like that. So just stop..ok?

Let them make fun.....but when you start rapping like Tupac, they all will feel stupid.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Umair15:</div><div class="quote_post">44 I know I am. Thanks btw i posted to vc. tell me your thoughts</div> Same problems as all the other ones. Simple rhymes. Inconsistent flow. And momma jokes. Try to make it more personal to vcwannabe.
I just realized you guys are overdoing it on the insults etc. Ok so he isn't the greatest rapper...but come on. Why do you have to insult him especially if he isn't cool with it? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">insults & attempts to publicly humiliate another member are strictly prohibited</div> Rules Isn't this one of the rules on JBB? Some of you guys enforce the rules so much, like when someone is flaming your team or baiting. Yet, when your team, you, or your favorite players aren't getting insulted you simply let it slide. It's cool if you made fun of him and he didn't mind but it's bothering him, so why not stop? Ok you can make a little fun but not your just completely overdoing it. It's just my opinion on the whole situation.
They chose to start a rap battle, and by doing so, they have opened themselves up for criticism. The criticism is necessary in order to determine the outcome, so all commentary on the content and presentation of their raps is welcomed, whether it be negative or positive.
Well it's being take to a whole new level. I don't really see it as criticism, and if it is why not use constructive criticism. You can do that and still be able to vote for who wins.
What I find to be awkward is that at one point Umair will come out and laugh at all the jokes being posted about him, saying he doesnt care and etc. Then the next minute he can come out and say that it hurts his feelings and etc. Anyways, Umair, if you really are feeling really hurt about all this, just remember this is just a message board and that nobody knows you in real life. On a message board, anyone can be whoever they want to be. Just keep that in mind and keep your head up.
You guys shouldn't use age as an excuse. I'm only 13 (almost 14), and I rap better than both of you combined LOL!
People like Junoon friggin start stuff like this. Talking about people and all. So he is theone to balem, or else no one will be hurt or messed with. SO junoon wth is your problem. If you think we suck, keep it to yourslef.

If you can't handle the criticism, then you're not going to be allowed to battle anymore.
the why criticize about someone?? if they have a problem, keep it to them selves. instead of sharing it here? why criticize? it wont start anything.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Umair15:</div><div class="quote_post">the why criticize about someone?? if they have a problem, keep it to them selves. instead of sharing it here? why criticize? it wont start anything.</div>...because it's a competition. Criticism is part of the judging process.

After all, all you do in a battle is try to humuliate the other person. I'm sure Umair and vcwannabe's moms are offended. So they should be banned? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Umair:</div><div class="quote_post">the why criticize about someone?? if they have a problem, keep it to them selves. instead of sharing it here? why criticize? it wont start anything.</div>You must not watch American Idol. Simon Cowell gets paid millions to say what we're saying.
