idk what it is with the Giants being one and done do people really think Carolina is that much better, because they arent. People arent considering that the Giants are 7-1 at home this year. Also that Carolina is a pretty inconsistant team IMO. They have no running offense and dont tell me that they did good last week because Carolina has had TWO yes TWO games that they've had over 100+ yards rushing and both games were against Atlanta. They have the 2nd worst avg yards per carry in the league. a few decimals behind Arizona, kinda sad for a playoff team dont ya think. Tiki Barber has been on fire with a few 200+ yard games recently. and sometimes the Panthers rush defense doesnt show up. And if it doesnt show up this game they will be torched. Keep in mind that the Giants had 3 missed field goals in the 24-21 overtime loss to Seattle. They could have easily won that game. I think a lot of people will be surprised when the Giants win

You're right JETS. Carolina has no rushing offense, they ran well against Atlanta twice because lets be honest anyone can run on Atlanta. The defense has been soft pretty much all year with all the injuries. Plus, Carolina is very inconsistent, I expect they will be exposed as the posers they are yet again against the Giants this weekend. Giants will win.

I think the running game will be there. Stephen Davis out of the lineup is actually a good thing. Nick Goings right now is a better back than Stephen Davis.

Its simply: If the panthers run defense shows up they win the game, if they dont the panthers better hope that Jake Delhomme has one of his best games. Im truly scared of Tiki Barber, he is a great back and has been on fire this year. Dan Morgan sat out last game, so hopefully he is healthy. Chris Draft would replace him, hes a good run stopper but lacks in the passing game.

Does anybody know the injury status of the Giants??

i think Pierce is still out their best MLB and their defensive leader they've got a couple injuries on defense... but anyway i dont see how you can say their rushing offense will show up. Yea sure its easy to just say that but how can u support it. again with only two games with 100+ both vs atlanta. they are overrated and i dont think they have a chance to go far. the fact is that the Giants have one of the best Defensive lines in the game, Osi Umenyora and Mike Strahan are two pro bowlers and Osi quietly has 14.5 sacks 2nd in the league. Strahan has about 10. their nose tackle stuffs the line. Its going to be hard for the Panthers to rush through that and Delhomme will be under pressure allll day.

It is a simple question to determine if panthers can win. Can steve smith beat giants singlehandedly. The rest of the panthers arent very good. If he goes off for 200 and 4tds i see them winning, otherwise giants.

ehhh the Panthers defense is very good but your right on offense it's up to Smith pretty much though Foster has played well at times this year but needs to be more consistent. I think Carolina wins but only because I picked them to win the Super Bowl since the Summer so I'm kind of stuck with them..

i can only judge D by what i saw. They couldnt get pressure, they couldnt stop the run, and the secondary allowed orton to have one of his better days.

exactly not only is the run offense inconsistant but their defense could be as well, i think Steve Smith with kill the Giants secondary but i dont think he'll do enough to win the game

Drew Carter has had two great games since we let Rod Gardner go 3 weeks ago. He is as fast as steve smith and really tall.

The Giants have a really good team but i think with Will Allen out, i think the panthers will do well in the passing game if Jake can get protection.

Eli Manning will be the main reason why the Giants lose. The Panthers do have a really good secondary and should have a field day on Eli Manning..

Will Allen=Worst starting corner in the league, he is the reasomn why we lost to washington. He can't tackle, cant intercept for his LIFE, and gives way too much cushon.

Travelle Wharton better be watching tons and tons and tons of film, and he better be in that weight room. I think the game will be decided on that matchup. Jake if he doesnt get time makes the stupiudest mistake anyone could make. He fumbles a lot, so if he gets hit 4 times hes probly gonna fumble two of those

Because media portrays everything. Eli has gotten bad press past week 7 Delhomme hasnt.

Both teams have great DEs, and we will see who the best DE tandem in the NFC will be.

It looks like the Giants linebacker core is extremly banged up. Only one full time starter at LB is projected to play. Hopefully Foster can get past those great DEs and maybe if he does that they the panthers will have success in the running game

Vick made it to the pro bowl to. So are u saying hes better than eli?? Well Giants are gonna win because they are going to give the ball to tiki. The only way i see the Giants losing is if Smith gets 150 yds 2 TDs and the rushing attack does ok with like 80 yds.
