This one's pretty simple... what NBA players have you always felt would falter when they were needed most? Not a matter of numbers, but I'm sure everybody here has a few players who always put up good numbers, were media darlings, but you just never felt they would get it done.
bit tired, so there could be somebody thats a much better choice for this, but im going with vince carter. hes an amazing athlete, has helped the nets out a lot, and has had an outstanding career filled with highlights. but has he ever brought his team the trophy? i dont think so.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Never made the playoffs until he joined the Kings and played a minimal role, but they still got the boot in the first round.
How about Stephon Marbury? From Minny to NJ to PHX to Knicks he has been losing and losing. The farthest he went was the first round and that was only a couple times. He's just not made to win. You might say he didn't have good teammates or something like that, but he has been losing on 4 teams not just one. He puts up good numbers but he is just simply a loser.
Ray Allen? Hasn't done anything except get to the East finals once, but that was with Cassell and G.Robinson. But that's only in terms of wins and championships. I don't think anyone can doubt his ability to hit a clutch shot.
before this past season, I would've said Antoine Walker......dudes just always been a loser in my mind Chris Webber Keith Van Horn
Tracy Mcgrady, Stephon Marbury. If Vince is gonna be on this list despite making the 2nd round and Ray Allen despite making the East Finals, T-Mac's gotta be in there as well. Marbury, I don't even have to explain I don't think. Also, I would have also put Antoine Walker but he got a ring so I can't really knock him...however, during his "I'm a superstar" phase, he was clearly making himself out to be a loser, despite making the East Finals. I give most of the credit to Pierce.

Vince Carter. I'm probably going to get alot of stick for this but when I watch him play, I feel he's more interested in making highlight reel plays then winning the game.
I would say Vince too. Yes, he is a fabulous player and very important to his team but he hasnt done anything to be mentioned, he is a highlight itself but it doesent give him a ring..
Take Iverson off that list right now. Game 1 of the 01 finals alone means he should never be in this conversation. His teammates know he'll be there for them. The list should be: Lamar Odom Kwame Brown Peja Stojackvic (bad spelling) Stephon Marbury Andre Miller Yao Ming Keith Van Horn and No. 1 all time HAS to be Chris Webber. Not only does he not show up when he's most needed, he usually suffers some kind of playoff ending injury at the exact second he's needed.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The list should be: Lamar Odom Kwame Brown Peja Stojackvic (bad spelling) Stephon Marbury Andre Miller Yao Ming Keith Van Horn </div> WTF? How is it possible to call Yao a loser right now? He's hasn't even peaked yet and has only been in the league for four years. On top of that, he's improved his game every single season. Not to mention he put up really dominant numbers towards the end of last season. What, you're going to rag on him for not winning a championship yet? I'm really curious as to what your reasons are he's a "loser". And don't give me that "he's a softie", "he doesn't pound it in down low", or "he should be dominating everybody" crap because he's definitely getting the job done at the end of the day. Plus, you can't exactly call him any of those anymore after his performance towards the end of the season and his play in the FIBA games.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Gametime?:</div><div class="quote_post">definitely C-Webb, uhhh maybe Steve Nash.</div> Steve nash yeah oKay probably the absolute last guy to be on this list
Kobe Bryant _______________ <div align="center"></div> Just kidding, Webber and Marbury are my big two.
