    1. Will Vince Carter stay with the Nets after this season?
I think that even though VC is going through a rough time Jason Kidd will find some way to persaude him to stay. If the Nets win the finals this year or even get very close that will also help determine if Vince will stay in New Jersey or go to the Bobcats or Magic.

    2. Will Nenad Krstic produce enough for us to be effective in the frontcourt?
I think if Krstic improves on the defensive end that we will have enough for the frontcourt. Krstic is getting it done ooffenstivly, but his rebounding numbers have to go up and he has to become a better post defender. With Shaq not playing as good as he was in his earliar years the east doesn't have many more great centers besides Ben Wallace and Dwight Howard.

    3. Will Jason Kidd ever be as good as he was in the 2000-2003 seasons?
If Carter and Jefferson become better scorers Kidd will avarege atleast 9 assists per game and become as great of a player on the fastbreak like back in his prime. We wont need his scoring as much but his other numbers will go up.

    4. Will Richard Jefferson ever be an all-star?
With the eastern confrence forwards right now, I dont think RJ will be an all-star unless Vince gets injured than Jefferson will have the ball more in his hands and will be able to pruduce and make it to the bench as a forward.

    5. In 3 years do you still see Lawernce Frank as the coach of the Nets?
This all depends on the sucess of the Nets. If Carter leaves after this season, I could see the Nets success going down and that will make the manengment want a new start and that could mean by fireing Frank.

    6. Will Marcus Williams or any of the other rookies make an impact this season?
If Williams gets his minutes I could see him getting 8 points along with 5 assists a game. With Kidd getting older he wont be able to play as many mintues as usual which means Williams will have to come of the bench to be the playmaker. This will happen if we dot sign Jay Williams. Josh Boone will probably be out for half the season, and I dont know if Hassan Adams will even play this season.

    7. How far will the Nets go this season and what will be thier win/loss record?
I'll go out and say that the Nets will atleast get the the Eastern Confrence finals. Hopefully the will beat the Heat. Shaq wont be as good and the Nets will win this one after losing 2 years in a row to the Heat in the playoffs. The Nets will get atleast 50 wins this year.

Yes, I think so. The foundation of this team is aging (Kidd) and this will probably be VC's last big contract. I think he goes for the money on a young, promising team that could use his scoring/star power. There's also the issue about wanting to play closer to home. He's always wanted to and he'll finally have the power to move.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">2. Will Nenad Krstic produce enough for us to be effective in the frontcourt?</div>
Krstic's more than held up his spot in the lineup. I like the depth that they brought in this offseason, but the frontcourt will always be the Nets' weak spot.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">3. Will Jason Kidd ever be as good as he was in the 2000-2003 seasons?</div>
No, that was the prime of his career.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">4. Will Richard Jefferson ever be an all-star?</div>
I don't think so. The East has an abundance of swingmen already better than him and a few that are up and coming. You never really know, but I don't think so.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">5. In 3 years do you still see Lawernce Frank as the coach of the Nets?</div>
Yes. Unless the Nets completely tank a season, he's shown to be a very good coach (the best in the Atlantic Division, at least).
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">6. Will Marcus Williams or any of the other rookies make an impact this season?</div>
Of course they will. The Nets needed a point guard off the bench, as well as some frontcourt depth and the rookies provide that. They might not have a huge impact, but they will get some time nonetheless.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">7. How far will the Nets go this season and what will be thier win/loss record?</div>
I see them making it to the 2nd round. Not sure about the wins.

    1. Will Vince Carter stay with the Nets after this season?
I think so, we have a good team, and him and kidd seem to be great friends, he says he enjoys it here, only reason i see him leaving is if he wants to play with a good big man in dwight, but i think playing with kidd will keep him.

    2. Will Nenad Krstic produce enough for us to be effective in the frontcourt?
He will score, but rebounding won't be well. he never seems to play down low much to grab boards, it seems he rather stay out 13-17 feet and shoot that j.

    3. Will Jason Kidd ever be as good as he was in the 2000-2003 seasons?
No, he will still be a great player but injuries and age will keep him from playing as well as he did back then, he will still be a great player though.

    4. Will Richard Jefferson ever be an all-star?
Maybe its hard to tell because the east have so many great sg/sf.

    5. In 3 years do you still see Lawernce Frank as the coach of the Nets?
I dont see frank still being the coach. he may be because hes done a great job, but we fired Scott after he led us to two championships so who knows

    6. Will Marcus Williams or any of the other rookies make an impact this season?
I think Williams will make a impact, because he is a offensive minded point guard which we need to lead when kidd is not on the floor, vaugn was a decent pg, but too defensive minded.

    7. How far will the Nets go this season and what will be thier win/loss record?
the nets will be 3rd in the east behing chicago and miami. i thought they would of been 2nd until i saw how great kirk hinrich is in the world game (HINIRCH FOR MVP!! lol). i think he will make it to the eastern finals though. we will finsih off a nother 50 win season

    1. I think it depends on how they finish. I have them winning the division, and they`re at least one of top ten teams in the league, so we`ll see what happens.
    2. Krstic I think will only get better and better, I think so.
    3. Kidd`s really really effective days are over, but he still brings alot to the table.
    4. RJ is the man. I hope he`s one sometime in his career.
    5. I guess we have to wait and see in those next 3 years, if it`s nothing but playoff runs, I can see a change in the coaching staff.
    6. Marcus Williams will be perfect coming off the bench for Kidd, I think so.
    7. I expect alot out of NJ this season. Some good new depth, bunch a great rookies, that should only produce. I expect a 50-30-like record in the end.

    1. Will Vince Carter stay with the Nets after this season?
I think he wants to but the whole situation with the divorce might affect his decision. He doesn't want to leave JKidd but he might have to if his wife wins child custody. We will just have to wait and see.
    2. Will Nenad Krstic produce enough for us to be effective in the frontcourt?
Our frontcourt looks pretty much the same as before. He will be effective in the frontcourt, the question is who else will be?
    3. Will Jason Kidd ever be as good as he was in the 2000-2003 seasons?
I do think he slowed down a bit because of his age but I do still think he is a big part of the Nets. Of course 2000-2003 were his prime years, so I don't really see how he can be better than when he was in his prime.
    4. Will Richard Jefferson ever be an all-star?
Depends if the coaches vote him in. The fans will pretty much pick the same players as last year....just a popularity contest. If he impresses the coaches he might be in, but I don't think that will happen.
    5. In 3 years do you still see Lawernce Frank as the coach of the Nets?
Why not? He is doing a great job as a coach. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
    6. Will Marcus Williams or any of the other rookies make an impact this season? I think that Marcus Williams will have the biggest impact as a rookie this season. He will get the most mins of the rookies, and I see that he will advantage of it. He is Kidd's backup who should pretty much make a nice impact his first season, and become a better player year by year.
    7. How far will the Nets go this season and what will be thier win/loss record?
I really don't want to jinx it but I do expect a 50 win season. Less than that would be disappointing to me. As for the playoffs, we shall wait and see.[IMG]

**Btw, guys why don't you post on the other threads? It's really not fun for me to post news and not have anybody to discuss it with. Let's get this to be like the Raptors forum.

No...I mean when I post news, I barely get any replys or anything like that. Maybe one reply, and it's just boring because I don't get to discuss it with anyone. Of course I don't mean one liner posts either, because if that's the case it's better not to post then.

This pretty much goes to anything that is posted in the Nets forum. Let's reply and discuss!

    1. Will Vince Carter stay with the Nets after this season?

Yes. I think that the team will get over 50 wins this season, make it deeper in the playoffs and do well enough to convince Vince that he has a good chance to win a championship.

    2. Will Nenad Krstic produce enough for us to be effective in the frontcourt?

Obviously, Nenad can't carry our frontcourt alone, especially defensively. But, I think that his production will be enough to give us some decent frontcourt production, along with Robinson, Collins, Moore and Boone.

    3. Will Jason Kidd ever be as good as he was in the 2000-2003 seasons?

We can't expect the 18 point, 9 assists and 7 rebounds a game Kidd anymore, but I think Jason will still do enough to remain an elite point guard in the league.

    4. Will Richard Jefferson ever be an all-star?

It depends on the rest of the eastern conference forwards. If a few guys get injured and can't play or some guys don't produce well, Richard might get a chance. But, I don't think he'll get much better than he is now, and with everyone healthy, I don't think he'll get that chance.

    5. In 3 years do you still see Lawernce Frank as the coach of the Nets?

Yes. Lawrence is young and very talented, and there just aren't any better choices out there.

    6. Will Marcus Williams or any of the other rookies make an impact this season?

    They'll definently be good backups.

    7. How far will the Nets go this season and what will be thier win/loss record?

Eastern Conference Finals, 7 game series loss vs Cleveland, 54/28
