Crocodile = Dinosaur, Raptor = Dinosaur, therefore Crocodile = Raptor?

The famous "Raptor dundee" passed away.

lol the forum is dead, and I felt like talking about something. This is at least interesting. If someone moves it "C'est la vie".

Anyway I was pretty surprised that the 'Raptor' Hunter would ever get hurt. Apparently a sting ray got him. Total shocker though.

    Hahahaha. Nice thinking.

Goes to you and everyone else on this forum, for future purposes, whenever you're posting a topic that's not related to Basketball, put a " OT-....." before the title. So it'd look like:

    OT: Crocodile = Raptor?

Thanks. And yes, the crocodile hunter will be missed.

Yea, at least we have a bunch of new faces on the Raptor team to spark interest even if we are a sub .500 team.

And maybe Garbajosa will be impressive, although I doubt it. Maybe we should go for a pure Spanish team. Sign the other Spanish guard, trade Bosh + filler for Pau + Damon Stoudamire back? lol

and back to the topic, I actually learned the difference between a manta ray and a sting ray from Steve Irwin's death. It also seems that deaths from stingrays are very rare.

It's still the best forum in the Eastern Conference. Just coast until the season starts. This is the slow part of the offseason.

Thanks for the welcome guys. And I don't see the Raptors as a sub .500 team, their winning 45 this year (you heard it from me).

I tend to expect them to win 25-35 games, and if they win anything more its bonus. [IMG]

They have a lot of new pieces to mesh together. If Nesterovic and Bargnani log big minutes, those are two fresh big men. Oh and Garbajosa.

With Mike James gone what will the pg minutes distribution be? TJ obviously will get a lot of PT and will have to learn about his new teammates.

Also with new SGs Fred Jones and Anthony Parker.

Really the only players who logged heavy minutes last year who are the same are Bosh and Mo Pete. So its hard to know what to expect and how they will perform early on.

Really it's a hit or miss with the Raptors. But their lined up for success, their so well rounded in everything it's hard to see where they'll go wrong. The only players without NBA experience are Bargnani and Jorge (the only two that will play decent minutes). What are they really lacking?
