Yes, he did have ghostwriters (Ice Cube and The D.O.C.) back when NWA was together. Once NWA broke up, Eazy started writing his own lyrics for his last two solo albums before he died.

Yeah. I know he definitely isn't as talented lyrically as some of my other favorite rappers (Big L, Biggie, Jay-Z etc.), but he literally created an entire new genre. That's why he's also known as 'The Godfather Of Gangsta Rap'.
