<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If you tuned in to the world basketball championships to watch Spain and see how Jorge Garbajosa looked, you must have left impressed. But if you're like me, you're more impressed with his shooting touch than his much-ballyhooed toughness. In the games I saw, he was far more of an away-from-the-basket guy than someone who'd go in the paint and start knocking people around and there's nothing wrong with that. As advertised, he was a good teammate, looks to pass, has a smooth shooting style which made his low percentage easier to take because his mechanics are good, he gets his teammates involved in the game and was a solid help defender. He wasn't Charles Oakley, though. But the one indisputable fact is that Garbajosa and Jose Calderon know how each other plays, they seemed to have great chemistry on the court and since both will be members of the second unit with Toronto, that's got to be the best thing fans learned out of Spain's run to the world championship. If the second Raptor unit ? in a nine-man rotation ? comprises Calderon and Garbajosa with either Anthony Parker or Fred Jones, Andrea Bargnani and Chris Bosh, that's going to be pretty solid.</div> Source

It's nice to see them both create good chemistry, with already having Bosh+Ford developing an even stronger bond, if this team stays together, we will turn out pretty strong.

First unit: Ford Fred Jones or Anthony Parker Mo Pete Chris Bosh Rasho Nesterovic Second Unit: Calderon Fred Jones or Anthony Parker Garbajosa Chris Bosh Andrea Bargnani Chris Bosh plays for the first and second unit, so that is a 9 man rotation. When Bosh sits out for his breather, Mo Pete will cover the 3 while Garbajosa will move to the 4. Or Bargnani will move to the 4 while Rasho is at 5.

I don't think he should play SG, and I think Mo Pete is more natural at 3. So I would like to see Fred Jones and Anthony Parker playing more at the 2 so Mo Pete can be at the 3.
I was pretty unimpressed with Garbojosa game at the world championships. Its uncanny how simaler it is to matt bonners... except i think bonner is the better shooter. He did fill up the score sheet but i have serious reservations about whether his range can be extended to the NBA 3 ball. Hopefully he works out though even if his main capcity is as a translator. I know he speaks Italien, Spanish and English lets hope he has a little slovenian as well.
Bonner is a liability as soon as he puts the ball on the floor, Jorge is not. If he can't shoot the NBA 3 so what? Their is a midrange game you seem to be forgetting about. Translator LOL you wish..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Iggy:</div><div class="quote_post">wtf does antoine walker have to do with this?</div> We should trade for Antoine Walker? Bosh for a championship veteran versatile SF/PF Antoine Walker in his prime (30). Isn't that a bargoon? Big tangent eh?
