Kobe Donates $5,000 to Family of Slain Fullerton Girl

    I agree Kobe is a great guy of the court, but honestly I'm not sure 5,000 was enough. For a guy as rich as Kobe he should donate more.

    What is enough? Kobe isn't obligated to donate anything to this family.

    Yeah, I guess your right. So what was wrong with this family? Were they poor?

    It's a great gesture by Kobe, but this just seems like one of those situations where money can only do so much. Really is a tragedy.

    But because he's rich and we're not, he's obligated to donate half of his salary. There was a clause in his contrat stating half of his salary will go to families in crisis and the Red Cross.
