<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">FOX Sports' Charley Rosen handicapped the most recent free agent signings Thursday and questioned whether the Nets' new combo guard can really play much of the point. Rosen writes that Edddie House can't "Run a half-court offense. Play defense. Shoot with consistency. Drive-and-dish". On the other hand, Rosen believes that House "does have the capability of injecting some outside punch into the Nets' frequently moribund offense".</div>

Since when do the Nets run a halfcourt style of offense?

Well the current Nets aren't the same fastbreak team that we saw with Kidd, Kittles, Martin, and RJ. The Nets depend more on halfcourt style now since they aren't the same run & gun team as before. They settle more into halfcourt now.

When is the last time you saw their games? 3 years ago? Sure they love to still run the fastbreak when they get the chance, but their more a halfcourt team now than they were before. They are just simply not the same running squad.

I remember watching Nets games on NBATV and they would constantly tell you every game how the Nets have the lowest FG% in the NBA for halfcourt play.

    I may be wrong though.

Might I ask, but who actually expected him to run an offense? He's a two guard, not a point. If JKidd isn't running the offense, it's probably going to be Marcus Banks. They don't need him to run an offense.

Moo probably meant Marcus Williams. Rosen's spot on with the description, and that's exactly why we need him. We'll slot him in at the two spot when the offense is stail.

Exactly, they don't want house to run the offense. Carter, Kidd, or Williams is gonna run the offense.
