Today, September 7th, 2006 marks the 10 year anniversary in which Tupac Shakur was shot after watching a Mike Tyson fight. Today also marks the birthday of gangsta rap legend Eric 'Eazy-E' Wright. Wright would've been 43 years old today. These 2 men had a huge influence in rap and will never be forgotten.

    R.I.P. Tupac Shakur (1972-1996) and Eric 'Eazy-E' Wright (1963-1995)

2Pac didn't die until September 13th, just clearing that up.

He was shot on this day but he survived in the hospital for 7 days before he could not put up a fight any longer.

Anyways, growing up, I was a huge huge huge 2Pac fan and he is a legend in my eyes.

    RIP to both of them.

RIP, way too many of the best artists of the 90's died far too soon. Now we're left with garbage music in all genres.

Sorry to take away from the main topic of this post, but Eazy E one of the greatest rappers ever? The guy didnt even write his own lyrics.

Regardless of that though, R.I.P to both men, they certainly had a huge impact on the rap scene.

Actually, he did. Not for the Eazy-Duz-It album, but once NWA broke up, he wrote his own lyrics on 187umkilla and Str8 Off The Streetz Of Compton.

Yeah, 'Pac's born in '71 not '72. Anyways, I'm not a huge fan of Eazy, but I'm a huge fanatic of Tupac, as a rapper and person. RIP.
