Your naive if you honestly believe Wade single-handedly led his team to the title. He was definitely the most valuable and the main man on the team, but be real, he had help throughout the playoffs, moreso.

and BTW, Lakers4Life (sp?) you honestly can not be in your 20s and still be calling the Mavs "Dall(ass)".

My apology to all Dallas Mavericks fans. There is no excuse for my behavior. No words that can take the hurt you felt from my ignorance.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting GatorsowntheNCAA:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm not saying the East is great or anything, but the top of the East is strong and you are making it seem like the Lakers would be representing the East or at least being in the Eastern Conference championship game, which wouldn't of happened last year and likely wouldn't of happened this year. I know that the Cavs have a little bit better supporting cast than the Lakers, but it's not enough to actually throw into a debate on why Kobe is better.</div>

Exactly, the bottom of the East isn't strong. Who said the Lakers would be in the Eastern conference championship game? Not me. And yes I can talk about the Cavs supporting cast. Two players with PERs higher than the Lakers' second best player is worth mentioning. I did already say that it isn't THAT big a margin, but one nonetheless.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Isn't that exact thing what you are arguing for Kobe, so why doesn't the bold go in affect for Kobe, when it does for Wade.</div>

No it's not the same thing, because "Killer Instinct" is a very sketchy term. Whereas just looking at the bottom four seeds of the East gives you a clear idea of their power. You have also agreed with most of my points... What I should have said regarding his instincts, is that it is quite an "ambiguous intangible".

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Lakers4Life:</div><div class="quote_post">That still doesn't amount to Kobe. Kobe is doing that on a regular basis. Are you serious? Yes Wade is young. But he is long ways to get on Kobe's level. He hit a game winner against Detoilet Pissons so what. He played the
Dall[ass] Mavericks and all of a sudden he is a legend? Need I remind you of who Kobe is?</div>

Of course it doesn't amount to Kobe, because Kobe has been playing for a decade. What Wade has done in 3 years has been amazing.

In 7 more years, Wade will go down as the greatest basketball player to ever play the game!

What he has done in three years? No. What Wade did in 2005-2006 was commendable, and what he did in the Finals was great. The other two years were not "amazing". However, other people have played well against the Mavericks as well.

Wow are you serious? His other two years were not great? Thay sure as **** were better than Kobe's. First, he lead his team to the second round with a game-winner against NO, then he leads his team to the ECF where they take the defending champs to 7 games (and would have won if not for injuries to Wade and Shaq). Wow what a crappy start to his career, Kobe's start was so much better [IMG].

Seriously bro. These Wade fanboys are making Wade out to be better than MJ.

Stop trying to spit in history by saying this youngster Wade is better than someone who has been there and done that, not one or two times like Wade has but multiple times.

Wow, you sure are an annoying brat aren't you? Kobe came out of Highschool, guy, and played behind an all-star. Wade didn't lead anyone to the ECF, Shaq was an MVP candidate that year. Lamar Odom was arguably just as good in Wade's rookie year and in the playoffs. I wouldn't consider beating the Hornets "amazing" either, just nice. Get over it. I said he had two nice years. LeBron has had an amazing career, considering his age. He is the only perimeter Highschool player to explode, whereas T-Mac and Kobe had to develop. Your bias gets more disgusting each day. Not everyone is going to agree with such a strong adjective ("amazing" first two years).

I never compare Kobe to MJ. I would be the first people to say don't compare Kobe to MJ but regarding a history of 10 years vs. MJ is something entirely different of saying this guy who has been here for 3 years, and won 1 championship is better than this veteran who has been here 10 years, is frequently compared to MJ, won 3 rings, carried his team literally, and won scoring title.

Its like when Marbury said Stoudemire is better than KG.

Its so premature to say Wade is better than Kobe or even worse, Wade is better than Jordan from what I'm hearing. Its like saying if Adam Morrison won a ring this year that he'd be better than Kobe and MJ.

i know you didnt, but i find it ironic how a lot of these kobe guys are saying the same stuff about wade, that everyone else says about kobe (vs jordan). I was referring to you, just using your quote as an example

Kobe can never be compared to Jordan. But, they do have a lot of similarities. they both developed a great jumpshot, 4th quarter instinct, clutchness, ability to attack the rim, same coach, same offense.
