You have to becareful about doctors diagnosing you with ailments. I recommend you get a 2nd or 3rd opinion from different doctors. One of the doctors you visit should be a Sports Injury Specialist.

From my understanding it's a temporary discomfort as long as you rest it.

I had it back in early 2003 when I was 13. It hurt when I used to run and do baketball-related activities, but I just fought through it pretty much. Honestly, almost 4 years later my knees don't feel 100%, but I can handle it though.

Maybe I have that, because when I play B-Ball and stuff my knees always hurt, I just thought it I was growing or something.

Chill man, he was just joking around.

Chances are you have it too if you're having those pains, its nothing to be worried about though, its only common in children from what I understand, and in most cases it goes away after like 2-3 years. All it does is give you pain in your knees from time to time.

^, you are right, but that pain can be a pain in the as* aswell. Just be careful and wearing braces help a lot.

It's separation of part of the bone from the patella tendon i believe. If it gets bad it can result in a really big bump below your knee cap.

I may have it, not sure though. I have extremely fragile knees, they start acting up everytime I do squats. For that reason, I can't really do leg excersices such as lunges, squats...basically anything that requires me to bend my knees, cause after a while I can feel the knee giving me more pain then the excersices themselves.

Also, I have a problem on my right leg, right below my calf, where the bone in that area hurts everytime I touch it. I've had it for a while but never got it checked out yet. I can't run suicides for too long cause of that because the more pressure I put on my right leg, the more the bone starts acting up. When I was playing soccer, it just started hurting for no reason. I'm not sure what it is that caused it or why it hurts so much everytime I touch it [IMG]
