    Which quote?</div>

"Alston + Van Gundy = Personality Clash

Believe me, I know. After all, I've been watching Alston for a season in Toronto. He is totally inadept at guarding pick and rolls and his three point shooting is erratic. His contract also isn't exactly small and is a long term one.

I'll lock this thread because it doesn't have any credibility to it. I think we should look towards getting Garnett. Is it plausible though?[IMG]"

Was I wrong though? I'm pretty sure Alston drove you crazy plenty of times when he went 1-8 or 0-7 from the three-point line last season as well. The personality clash hasn't occurred yet, but I'm no psychic. At the time, with Alston's clashes with Sam Mitchell, I wasn't going to be the only one who didn't think Alston would get along with Van Gundy. I do stand corrected, at least at the current time.

You said the thread had no credibility and that hurt my feelings. Jk, all I know is it did happen, and almost anything can happen in the NBA. Now that KG thing, that would never ever happen.

I am happy that we acquired him, and strongly believe that when given significant minutes next to Yao and T-Mac he is a top 10 PG in the league.

Just ask durvasa and see what he has to say (on the next to T-Mac and Yao thing).

Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Hope you didn't lose too much sleep over it. I won't. [IMG]

Anyways, I do like trading Mike James for Rafer Alston. I do believe it was an upgrade in talent and in Alston, we have a PG who can start. However, I'd much rather have him coming off the bench. If Sura can play like he did in 04-05, it'd be friggin' fantastic.

I agree. It would be perfect if we had a fully healthy team this season. If not, then I hope at least T-Mac and Yao are.[IMG] Now thats all the entertainment I need.

Yep, same thing I was thinking.
Houston vs. Memphis would favor us greatly but, then again ...
If we go against the Lakers, I'd like to see Tmac & Kobe go at it. So, when we win, which we probably will. I can talk trash with Laker fans. [IMG]
