Inspired by deception's thread, but it's a topic that is much more important. j/k. 1. Don Cherry (for non-Canadians: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Cherry_%28hockey%29) 2. Bill O'Reilly 3. Stephen A. Smith 4. Chuck Swirsky (annoying Raptor's broadcastor/tool) 5. George W. Bush Honourable Mentions: Dick Vitale, Isiah Thomas, Paul Wall, Stephen Harper (Canadian PM)
Honestly, I don't mind Don Cheery. He's like the Barkley of hockey. Anyways, for me, in no order: 1. George Bush [I'm sure I'm not alone here]...the guy just screams "KICK MY ASS PLEASE" everytime I hear him talk or see him giving a speech 2. Jamie Campbell...he's a (former?) Sportsnet news anchor or whatever and he was so blatantly racsist and biased against basketball players that it used to get on my nerves. 3. Stephen A. Smith- cannot stand the screaming. 4. Lang Whitaker (SLAM columnist)...actually, I wouldn't give him an ass kicking cause I grew up reading SLAM (1999-2003) and even though I don't read the magazine nowadays, I still visit the Links (Slam's websites main component as written by Lang) often. However, Lang's level of bias and sheer ignorance when it comes to topics like Kobe or anyone that doesn't kiss SLAM's ass or any former Hawk is baffling. He constantly flames on Kobe for absolutely no reason, nit-picking the littlest things Kobe does/says and uses it against him to call him "selfish" etc etc. Funny thing is, he defends STEPHON MARBURY and DOMINIQUE to the fullest and says stuff like "they do everything for thier team". The sheer irony of his player-defending makes me laugh and annoyed at the same time. Basically, he kisses Marbury's ass no matter what he does and jumps on Kobe or any other player he doesn't like regardless of thier actions. Also funny is that he always says ESPN sucks but flames Kobe i nthe same manner that they do in order to get more attention. It's annoying as hell. He also believes Boris Diaw is only good for the Suns cause of the offence and that the Hawks DIDN'T make a mistake in letting him go. I've commented on the site numerous times and have told him to stick his personal bias up his ass and start doing some actual reporting in terms of basketball. 4. Chuck Swirksy-- If anyone has seen the commentary for the game where the Raptors lost to the Celtics and G.Green dunked it off the backboard, you'd know how much of a homer this guy is. He's a homer beyond explaination. If a Raptor had done that dunk he would have been praising and worshiopping them. 5. Any of those stupid, non-sensical rap groups that consist of stereotypical "rappers" with the flossed out teeth, 90 pound chains, 5 girls on each side while driving in hydrolics. Meanwhile, their actual music sucks.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Junoon:</div><div class="quote_post">Honestly, I don't mind Don Cheery. He's like the Barkley of hockey.</div> Cherry represents everything I dislike about Canada. He's ridiculously racist and bigoted for no apparent reason. He's obsessed with hockey. He's so right-wing it hurts. And, he's anti-multiculturalism. Yet, somehow he gets rewarded for this and is considered a national icon. btw, I never really listened to Jamie Campbell before, but I know he does baseball now. Was he really that bad?
Jamie Campbell is a horrible play by play man. Seems like a nice guy though. 1) George Bush. 2) 50 Cent- What is he good for in life? 3) The producers of RSN and TSN. Hockey bias bastards. 4) David Feschuk 5) Young kids who think they're "gangsta".

Was he really that bad?</div> Well, the reason I said I don't mind Cherry is cause I've only heard him talk in Coach's Corner like 5 times in total in my life and he's seemed to be quite funny on that show. I don't know anything else about the guy. As for Jamie Campbell, no, he's actually not that bad. For all I know he could be the nicest guy in the world. But, I remember I taped the 2001 Finals on VHS and was recording the highlights for Game 5 (where the Lakers won in Philly to seal thier second championship) and Jamie kept making wisecracks at Iverson and the Sixers the whole way for no reason. He's probably not like that all that time but that's been stuck in my head ever since. I guess my impression of him will forever be entwined with that commentary he did. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">2) 50 Cent- What is he good for in life?</div> Ditto for any rapper that boasts about guns, bitches, blah blah. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">5) Young kids who think they're "gangsta".</div> Just the other day these grade nines were trying to start up with Grade 12s. I hate the younger kids nowadays in general...everyone thinks being a gangster is what it's all about. What pisses me off even more is those little brown kids (or white, or black, but I'm brown so I tend to comment on the brown kids more) that walk with a limp, have a random 'flag' stickin out of thier pocket (usually matches with what they're wearing lmao) and wear an oversized cap 5 times thier headsize.
The thread i've been waiting for. 1. George Bush 2. David Stern and his boys 3. Carlos Boozer 4. Larry Brown 5. Ms. Sutherland- my principal honorable mention- Chris Sheridan
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Junoon:</div><div class="quote_post">lol at Bush being on everyone's list so far.</div> They can kick Bush's ass all they want but most of the people here don't know anything about Iraq or 9/11.
don't include me in that list....there are a lot of reasons why I don't like G Dubb....and this was before he was even president.......I had to deal with him as a governor first. reasons for not liking Bush 1. Entire agenda is to look out for the rich and s#!t on the poor..."trickle down theory" = lame. 2. No Child Left Behind Policy - puts children at more of a disadvantage 3. War in Iraq - why are we over there?, why is it that the "reasons" we are over there have changed from A. Fighting A War on Terror B. Weapons of Mass Destruction C. To bring "democracy" to Iraq 4. Hurricane Katrina - I understand that A LOT of people failed on every level of the govt., but as President of the U.S. he deserves a lot of the blame for what happened and what is happening now Just a few reasons off the top of my head.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting huevonkiller:</div><div class="quote_post">They can kick Bush's ass all they want but most of the people here don't know anything about Iraq or 9/11.</div> Well, not everyone has read into detail about it as much as you might have but most of the senior members do tend to know quite a bit about it. I don't follow politics to a wide degree, but my rage towards Bush stems from how he speaks, conducts himself, acts, etc. I find it hard to believe that this guy is the leader of perhaps the greatest nation in the world. Furthermore, even ignoring the moronic things he's been known to say, he also seems to be more focused on decepting the American public through a web of lies, coverups and contradictions then actually leading them towards more essential and beneficial objectives. Regardless of what 9/11 was all about or what connection Iraq has with 9/11, there is no way anyone can justify to me why Bush would ignore UN orders and storm in Iraq for a cause that eventually was proved to be nonexistent. I fail to see how anyone can defend such a dick of a human being...What did America receive out of going into Iraq?

1. George Bush 2. The twins from the suite life of zack and cody 3. some kids from my school 4. 50 Cent 5. Vlade Divac
funny you mention Raven....while getting ready for work this morning the t.v. happened to be on ABC, so I actually watched "That's So Raven".....I understand it's a little kids show, but some of the "funny" scenes would've been hard for me to laugh at even in my more immature days
