The combo guard, CBS notes, provides the long-range shooter that the Nets lacked off the bench last season. Regarding Boki Nachbar, CBS says the Nets "are curious to discover if there is NBA potential there".</div>

I'm happy with the recent moves, but i'm not satisfied. We still haven't solved our biggest need, which is a bigman in the paint who can rebound and anchor the defense. The Big Three all having large contracts limit our flexibility. If we want to win a championship soon, we have to take it to the extreme and trade one of them. We won't reach the finals unless Krstic plays like an all-star, everyone stays healthy, and our bench is consistent.

Ya and Jason Kidd getting older isn't gona help your chances, I know this sounds crazy, but i say trade Kidd for a good bigman and a servicable pointguard. You guys also have Marcus williams to run the point in the near future.

Yep. If Marcus Williams turns out to be a stud, then i'd go for a trade like that. If not we could always trade Carter. I wouldn't want just a serviceable bigman though; i'd want all-star quality, or close to it. Maybe trade for Drew Gooden, Zach Randolph, or someone of that nature?

lol, bad choice of words from me. I should have said "a starter quality" player. I want Kidd to retire as a Net as well, but I'm more concerned with him winning a chip here before he retires. At this point I don't know if it's possible, so a trade wouldn't seem so unreasonable.

Kidd gives the Nets a 100% night in and night out. Kidd led them to a 52-30 (Nets All-Time record) season from a 26-56 record the previous year right off the bat. The Nets won the East to reach the NBA finals. Jason Kidd turned the Nets from the leagues doormat to championship contenders. If and when the Nets win a championship, Jason Kidd will be at the helm. He turned down the chance to play with Duncan for a run at the finals to stay with the Nets. The idea of trading Kidd shouldn't even be talked about. The New Jersey Nets is Jason Kidd.
