It's offical Herm is probably headed west now and all the Chiefs had to give up was a 4th rounder.

That's quite a steal for a proven head coach.

Yeah for only 4th rounder, I would have asked for nothing less than a 3rd or 2nd round pick.

well u see there is something different about the Jets its something about their organization that just knows how to do everything wrong. Its really fun to be a fan cause i just cant wait to see them do something else wrong its very exciting. ok no more pretending to smile

WHAT R U DOING TERRY BRADWAY????????????????????
a fourth round pick, A FOURTH ROUND PICK??? whatttttttt
Terry BradWay do u happen to relieze what the Chiefs gave for compensation to the Rams for Vermiel. A 2nd and 3rd round pick and Vermiel was RETIRED!!!!!
so how does it happen that Herm Edwards only gets a 4th rounder, does this make any sense? I heard that the Chiefs played hardball to get Herm alright BradWay thats all and good but we dont have to give them Herm Edwards we didnt have to do anything. Try saying next time we wont give him up for less than a 2nd and 4th rounder and if they say no say to the Chiefs fine its your loss. Doesnt it make sense to BradWay that this didnt have to happen. I dont think he understood. This is ridiculous they better sign Donnie Henderson or i'm going to be really pissed

I wonder which side of the ball Herm Edwards is going to adress in the off season. They defintly need a 1st or 2nd round WR, and LB and a good DB that can play the run

a couple of things....#1, Vermiel wasnt retired, he was actually being employed as a consultant and was under contract, thats why they had to compensate the Rams....#2, Terry Bradshaw is a commentator on Fox's pregame show, previously he won 4 Super Bowls with the Steelers and hes in the Hall of Fame. Your GM is Terry BradWAY....#3, Dick Vermeil won a Super Bowl a few years ago, Herm Edwards has a career 41-46 record. I know you liked him, but you cant compare those 2 careers....if you look at it from a nuetral standpoint, I think you will admit the compensation for Vermiel should have been more than for Edwards....

Yeah, in herms defense he was coming off his worst season ever, and vermeil had won super bowl in his last year in . . .oh wait, actually, chiefs may have given up too much

its ture that he was above .500 going in to this last year, but NFL teams dont hand out asterisks for injuries....bottomline is that one was a Super Bowl winning coach, one of only 20 or so in history, while the other guy has a losing record and never got passed the 2nd round of the playoffs....they dont compare favorably for edwards....

haha thanks Beef i was very hyped up in the moment i know its Terry Bradway, i still think Edwards is worth more than a 4th rounder. i also know that Vermiel is a more accomplished coach but i 4th rounder is a little ridiculous. the point i made with Vermiel is that he wasnt coaching anymore there and the Rams still got more compensation. Also i think Edwards is a great motivator, even though they sucked the jets went out everyweek to play and cut it close a few times. though i did like Edwards i just dont like the fact that we got so little.

hahahaha i'm pretty embarressed by the BradShaw thing i'm gonna go back and edit that, in the words of nflfan fan "ugh i'm so STUPID" lol

Jets should of least got a 2nd round pick for Edwards.. Record aside he has 3 playoff births in 5 seasons which is pretty darn good.. Though I'm a Herm Edwards guy so I might be a little bias but I feel a 2nd round pick would of been a fair offer..

Some compensation is better than none. I thought it would a 3rd this year & 5th in '08.

With that extra 4th, the jest can draft BF1's & my fave player Ron Mexico Jr and solve their QB problems. LOL.
