http://www.nba.com/hotzones/popup.html Really interesting; pick a team and a player and see the percentage they shoot in a specific area.
Check out shaq's all in the paint. Go to kobe's and you'd see if he didn't attempt so many 3's he'd probably have alot better fg%.
Very neat thing for the NBA. Im going to check out some of the Heat Players. And, last years rookies.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chutney:</div><div class="quote_post">This just reminded me of how good a scorer/shooter Mike James is.</div> yea Mike James' hot zone is everywhere. Only has two cold spots, 3 average, and 9 hot spots. It's not fair for Q-Rich though, he didn't have a hot spot.

And of the 10 players who shot the most 3s last year Kobe had the worst 3 point FG%. Of the 20 players who took the most 3s last year, two players shot at a worse clip, Donyell Marshall and Lebron James was stinking it up too. I guess big time scorers need the 3 to get their high totals, and the 3 point shot doesn't take as much effort as a drive. Gilbert, James, and Kobe all took their fair share of 3s and didn't shoot at great percentages. And they were 3 of the top 4 scorers last year.

Considering Bryant still had an above average true shooting rate in spite of all this, Kobe would be wise to take a few less three pointers.

Arenas wasn't too great either. TS% incorporates 2 pt FG% as well doesn't it? (I'm only talking 3 pointers) I'm saying Kobe's 3 PT% is low compared to other heavy chuckers, as well he took the 3rd most 3s last year. Arenas is also a big chucker and his 3 PT% isn't that high on the list either, but better than Kobe. Donyell Marshall was surprizingly bad last year, he had a 9% 3 PT% drop off from the previous season with the Raptors.
This thing is awesome, shows the true shooters of NBA. Delonte West looks pretty good on there. Sam Cassel looks good too. Dwayne Wade, not so pretty DIRK NOWITZKI - THE MAN IS A SHOOTER, NO MATTER FROM WHERE! Jason Terry - Lights it up. Steve Nash - True shooter, just like Nowitzki. Ray Allen - Ditto LMAO @ Shaq - This guy sucks from everywhere, besides beneath the goal. Wow, but Ben Wallace really makes Shaq look like a shooter.

However, I agree with your latest post.
