this is the way i see the top 2 QBs coming into the league and how i compare them to the QBs already in NFL.

Leinart- the guy is great and its always fun to watch him play. he reminds me a lot of Manning with his pocket presence and he is a great passer. you could also say he plays like Carson Palmer

Young- he is McNabb. well the old McNabb mixed with the new one. he can run, the old McNabb ran. he can throw, and the new McNabb can throw. Major Differnece, Young hasnt choked in the big games.

i would say Reggie Bush, but honestly, i dont think he is comparable. i think he is on a different level. in 2 years he may be as good as some of the top NFL RBs, if not better.

itll be fun to see how these guys shape out, they all have something going for them, hopefully none of them screw it up. id love to see Young and Leinart starting in the SB(eventually) and see how that works out.

I would compare Vince Youngs is a mix between Philip Rivers side arm throwing and Dante Culpeppers powerful running and his big strong body.

Young is Mike Vick with an arm. He can run better than Culpepper and McNabb coming out of college and he is a better pocked QB than Vick...

Leinart and Palmer is a perfect comparrison.. Except Palmer has a better deep ball but Leinart has more leadership qualities coming out..

Arm strength is so overrated. Yes, a QB needs a strong enough arm to make all the throws required of him, but there are a ton of guys with super human arm strength that can't throw worth a crap. Jim Druckenmiller is the first that comes to mind. Michael Vick is another.

Well then your predicting by far the biggest bust in NFL History.. No I don't think he'll be a bust simply because he's not going to have to carry the load for a team. He'll be used as a receiver, runningback, and return man.. The Texans have Davis to go in between the tackles and Bush for the home run threat.. It's a great one two punch.. Now if Bush is forced to carry the load then I could see him not being as good as expected but he's not going to bust out like Curtis Enis..

I'd compare Young to McNair & ironically he could end up replacing his Airness next season.

McNair is also his mentor, they have almost a father son relationship.

No, but I see Vince Young being a bust.

actually i'm not really saying that arm strength is key (for the past few years i've been defending Chad Pennington) but i'm just pointing out that comparing Carson Palmer to Matt Lienart is different because Palmer can throw a nasty deep ball something i'm not sure Lienart can do

I didnt, I really didnt....but then I saw him against some nfl calibur defensive players in the Rose Bowl and I saw how frustrated he was when he couldnt turn the corner on every play....in the NFL, there are going to be even more plays he cant get loose....watching him made me think of another sure-fire 1st overall guy that was mostly speed, Rocket Ismail, who played the same role in college that Bush played....that guy had to move to WR because he couldnt take the pounding a RB takes and Bush might be the same....Bush is fast, we know that....he can cut well, we know that.....and his body looks like it can take some beating(6-0'', 200lbs), but the truth is, hes never been hit as hard and consistently as hes going to be hit on sundays if he comes out....the bottomline is that finesse backs dont do well in the NFL....Warrick Dunn is small, but hes not a finesse back, hes one of the most physical backs in the league....I see a guy that will return punts and kicks to start, that can play some offense as a WR and RB, but he cant carry the load, atleast not right away....he certainlu not the slam-dunk hall of famer that a lot of analysts are making him out to be....id say hes got a 50% chance to be a complete bust....

That's why Houston is a great place.. He's not going to have to carry the load. They have Domincik Davis to do that. They can use Bush in many ways which is how USC used him. They can line him up at wideout and they can run tosses to him.. Bush will see 20-25 touches a game and probably around 10-15 carries.. Davis be the guy that run in between the tackles..

Leinart is the best QB. He may have lost to Vince Young but it's still Leinart 2, Young 1. Reggie Bush is the best RB and I know one of you is going to say some RB that can catch is better so don't say anything about this sentence.

Palmer is not comparable to Leinart because Palmer didn't really play in the playoffs -- Leinart did (BCS, playoffs. Same thing)

I dont think Bush will be a bust, how can you possibly say this. I can see him not living up to his rep in college regarding yards i.e 250 all purpose a game and stuff, but even if he produces half the numbers then he wont be a bust.

This guy is gonna be good, if you are gonna say bush will be a bust then you could say every player in the draft is gonna be a bust. You have no proof or no logical reasoning behind your statement that bush will be a bust

its not the same thing. the Playoffs are better n bowls because theirs no elimination and its based on a seasons effort for hich bowl you play. in the NFL, you play every game you can to get to the SB.

lets pretend that the colts went 16-0. that doesnt put them directly in the SB. they still need to in in playoffs.

uhm Hawk Bush has the best hands in the draft out of all the RB's and maybe even the WR's.. No one can say there's a RB with better hands than him in the draft because that would be a total lie at this point.
