Two years ago, Wtwalker started an 8 team league with head to head matchups, daily roster change. I thought that was kind of fun, especially because I won (ha ha ha ha). Anyway, do any of the regulars on this forum think we should start another league? If there are enough ppl we should probably post a league in the Warriors VIP lounge. If nobody will start one I just need a consensus on how many people would join and if there's at least a few, I can create one and invite some others like Shapecity, Rudeezy and some mods/tls (if they are willing to join a 10th or nth league ). JBB regulars are welcome to join so we can put a familar user handle to the team each person is about to slaughter. I can probably see Anime Fanatic, AlleyOop, Warriorsfansn93, Carter, CaBBB or Run BJM being rabid players. Maybe we could get Gohn, Cohanhater, Clif, Zhone back in. Boogielew, illPill, REREM, and Kwan could give it a try, maybe? Maybe the international fans as well like hipokrat from Latvia and Chuck.be from Belgium.
I prefer Sim leagues, but I'll give it a shot. Might be hard to keep up though. Right now I'm in the process of trying to ditch Eddy Najera from my Warriors in the SL.

If it's not your thing I don't want you quitting on us There will flexibility at least to modify your roster any time of the day and there will be a waiver period of a couple days.
The only thing I don't like about fantasies is the draft process. I personally like having a set roster to start with. I tried one a long time ago and did decent. I was undefeated for a while but then J-Rich went down.

Hey my team could be screwed by injuries by mid season or suddenly my blue chip rookie could be benched or playing really badly. There were three season ending injuries my players had last season. It was horrible. Maggette, Emeka Okafor, Baron Davis, Kenyon Martin. My god, worst season since '03... I remember the season before that Brad Miller or Jamaal Magloire went down with something lame like a finger injury. Then I lost Shareef Abdur Rahim to an elbow something. My team full of allstars wasted but luckily I had accumulated depth...
lol I'm on the same boat as Anime..when i join fantasy games..I do nothing but look at stats all day every minute and every second. The last time I played was sophmore year in high school which was like 5 years ago. I couldn't even do homework nor study..but thanks for the invite Custodian! maybe when i'm done with school which would be a year or two i'll definetly join
The one we had last year with 20 people from various Warrior Forums was a lot of fun. CR2, you think it's possible to get the same group to be a part of this league?
I remember playing two years ago. I wouldn't mind playing again especially because I'm not playing Fantasy Football this year.
I think we can easily get 20 ppl, Shape. I guess I could be commissioner this year. I will pm you guys the info once I create the league.
I'd join, I'm also like AF where I am constantly looking at stats but that usually wears off after the first week.
Basketball doesn't lend itself to fantasy as much as say football. You have to dedicate way too much time due to the unbalanced schedules (some teams play more games than others in certain weeks) and players jump on and off IR pretty frequently. I tried playing last season but I just had too much work to do. Football's a much easier time investment. 20 minutes per week is enough to manage 2 leagues.
Okay I created a league (first year as commish). I just set the max to 20 teams and I will invite some of the ppl that were in our 20 team league last year that were good (the one we were in Shape with the espn warrior fans), but it probably won't be the actual same 20 ppl since half probably gave up LOL. It probably will be more like 10-12 max teams since 20 teams made it so whoever drafted 15-20th more or less was screwed (except for Shape who came out of nowhere with the 19th pick overall. I guess picking almost twice in a row has its advantages). I will put the league id# and password in the private lounge for those interested. These are the settings (we can change any of these.
