Well since I live in Green Bay I figure I'd let my fellow Packer Backers(very korny) in on the coaching search right now.. Here's the list of interviews that have happened and that are scheduled..

    1. Jim Bates, Packers defensive coordinator
    2. Maurice Carthon, Browns offensive coordinator
    3. Tim Lewis, Giants defensive coordinator
    4. Sean Payton, Cowboys assistant head coach
    5. Ron Rivera, Bears defensive coordinator
    6. Mike McCarthy, 49ers offensive coordinator
    7. Wade Phillips, Chargers defensive coordinator
    8. Russ Grimm, Steelers assistant head coach/offensive line coach

Rumored to have been contacted: Kirk Ferentz, University of Iowa coach

Jim Bates and Tim Lewis are the two guys I would love to see here.. Either or is fine by me. Bates brings intensity to the team and the player love him. Lewis knows the town and is well respected here even though he his career was short.. I also would love to see Ferentz here as well though he's just a rumor though..

It appears that Wade Phillips is a front runner for the job and I hate this.. Reasoning I don't see why you fire Sherman to replace him with Phillips.. I'm not a Wade Phillips fan.. Though Thompson is close friends with the family because he played for Phillip?s father in Houston.

not what's been reported around here.. Rivera is a hot commodity but apparently Phillips had a good interview.. Right now Bates and Phillips are the front runners and Rivera is the sleeper..

Wade Phillips and TT are supposedly very chummy, I hope he is not selected.

I would have to say either Jim Bates or Wade Phillips. Ron Rivera either but can not REALLY see it happening, he would be a great pick up though
