Of course, I'm interesting in seeing the first game, and seeing how Gay does in scrub type action. That, and seeing if Spanoulis can play like he did during the FIBA World Championships.

    1. Win
    2. Win
    3. Loss
    4. Win
    5. Win
    6. Loss
    7. Win

I think the Rockets will only get two losses. one from Western Conference Champs. And the other one from The Champs. Other than that, all wins.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Teams dont play all their starters if any in Pre-season games. Most teams play their bench players. So, its not predictable who is going to win. If they were normal season games, then I'd agree with you on the most part.

Well now Rockets have a strong bench. Also, I could be right since Mavs and Heat only have a stronger bench than us. Rockets could win all those games that I mentioned since we have a good bench.

Rockets will rest Yao a little and play Tmac alot so he gets back into the rythm of NBA play. Look for this to be the starting lineup

    yao
    Howard
    battier
    tmac
    alston

BUT this to be the lineup that gets majority of the minutes
    Howard
    Battier
    Tmac
    Head
    JL3

    I'd rather have...V-Span instead of JL3. FIBA Experience > NBDL Experience ...

Actually, this might make a good thread.. FIBA Exp or NBDL Exp?

I actually think JVG will let JL3 get some touches because he doesnt want to injure Vspan, but I could be wrong in the sense that JVG might want Vspan to get some exp in NBA.

The preseason for JVG would be a chance to evaluate both Lucas and VSpan. Right now, both are unproven so the preseason would be taken as a meter to measure their value to the team. If either one could play like Head last October, a spot in the rotation should be locked up.

Also interested to see Snyder and how well Battier will fit in with the Big Two.

Training camp generally starts in the first week of October. So most likely October 2nd for the Rockets.

Will any of the games be broadcast on national or international television?

Preseason games? Usually not, although I'm not sure about NBA TV showing select games. Local TV might be the furthest extent.
