    Charlotte recieves:
    F-Mike Dunleavy Jr.
    G-Mickael Pietrus

    Golden State recieves:
    F-Gerlad Wallace
    C-Melvin Ely

CHA would then sign Bonzi Wells

apparantly the only thing stopping the trade is that the Suns are trying to aquire Ely from the Bobcats

That would be stupid, very, very stupid of the 'Cats to do. Gerald Wallace is better than any other player involved in the trade and will do exactly what Bonzi can do and maybe even more, all while being about 6 years younger with a huge amount of potential still to be realized.

Gerlad Wallace would be a good guy to trade for the Bobcats, but they really shouldn't trade Gerald Wallace. I would love this trade from a selfish Magic fan perspective and hopefully that will help get the Warriors back into the playoffs.

That is a horrible trade for the 'Cats. Dunleavy and Pietrus? Please. GWallace is a nasty player and Melvin Ely is a good C. Bonzi Wells, in my opinion, won't do good in Charlotte.

Yeah, that's a terrible trade for the Bobcats, Wallace is the heart and soul of the Bobcats' defense, Bickerstaff would be foolish to pull that trade. Pietrus isn't bad at all, but I don't want Dunleavy, we'd be better off with Ely and Wallace. And besides, the Bobcats' still have the CAP room to sign Wells either way..

What does this have to do with the Magic though? Not trying to sound like a jerk, just wondering.

Nothing really but it says OT: (off topic) so it's allowed. If you look at other forums like the Warriors for example, off topic threads about other teams appear all the time.

I think this is a great trade for the Warriors and like Gators said, as a Magic fan, I would love to see the Bobcats do this for the sole purpose of seeing them fail.

As a huge fan of the Magic, of course I'm going to want other Eastern conference teams to do bad, especially ones in the Southeast Division.

Imagine Gerald Wallace and Richardson running the break with Davis pushing up the ball? That's just ludacris.

Pietrus is as dumb as a doorknob and Dunleavy is an underachiever. Wallace is going to be a monster defensive force in a few years so I don't get how this trade benefits Charlotte at all.

For the record the deal was supposed to be Dunleavy, Pietrus, and a first round pick or a young player such as Andris Biedrins for Wallace and Ely. The deal is officially off because Bonzi's agent is working out a deal with the Nuggets and the Warriors didn't want to give up the pick.

Thank goodness. I'd hate to see Wallace traded especially for that in return. Just disgusts me, and it just goes to show how underrated Wallace is.

IMO he is the most underrated player in the league...only player to average more than 2 blocks and 2 steals per game...the drive is there, the athleticism is there, that will is there...he is a jumpshot away from being the next superstar in this league
