Now we just have to hope that Ron Artest doesn't kill Bonzi cause then we will have lost all hope.

Before I loaded this site I was worried there was going to be a thread saying Bonzi did not sign with Houston or something.

Phew! I couldn't focus on any of my lectures 2day.

Now all we have to do is hope for a healthy season, and we should be fine.

A trade involving Snyder/Howard for a legit starting PF/backup C would be nice, but no team is gonna be willing to deal with the Rockets now. [IMG]

DIdn't Dawson say he wanted to put four athletes beside yao could this be the new line up he wants to put out? Yao/Battier/Mcgrady/Wells/Alston?

Sura will likely retire. I'd like to keep Haryasz around if there's an extra spot. Azubuike's finishing ability makes him intriguing, and for whatever it's worth he put up big time numbers in the Vegas summer league. I'd be surprised if he stays with the team, however.

We should keep Rybo and cut somene else. I really like Rybo's hustle and his defense. He deserves a spot even though he has no jumper at all.

I heard on a local radio station that Bonzi hasn't actually signed the dotted line yet....but they say that he's really really really close.

The signing of Bonzi gives them a great lineup of talent, but this has to be hands-down the hardest team to coach in the NBA. Last year they struggled to find an identity they may find it just as hard this year. Part of that was due to injuries though. And the same was said about Miami, and they had a somewhat decent season. [IMG] Can't wait to see how this Rockets team shapes up.

Oh heck no. So you're saying that there is like 1 percent chance that it might not happen? I will kill the Houston Rockets if this don't happen. This is suppose to make up for the Gay trade. I will be real mad, and stop watching the Rockets. But if its everywhere on the Internet and they have articles and stuff, I think this deal is done even though it hasn't been confirmed.

Well I mean with the media attention that this is getting i doubt Bonzi hasn't signed yet and if he hasn't then he most probably will.

your guys' 2, 3, and 4 (Bonzi, Tmac, and Battier i assume in no real position order) may cause some problems, for you and your opponents. Guarding some great pf's is gonna be really tough, but on offence you should tear it up.

I think that Battier will play the 4 when guarding small pf's, and when guarding howard, brand, or nowitzki, we are prolly gonna get howard to guard them. So Wells or battier will prolly be bench for some games.

I REALLY hope Bonzi starts over Battier at the 2. He's the third scorer we've been needing.

Bonzi is just attending a family matter(a wedding in the family) so he won't be in Houston not until monday when the players gets their physical checkups. Monday will be the day he'll officially sign with Rockets.

With the roster already on the max plus 3 training camp invitees(Jacobsen,Azuibuke and Haryasz) it seems that RyBo( offseason hip surgery) and Sura(recovery status uncertain) will have to prove themselves that they are healthy and have to perform well in preseason games otherwise they will probably be bought out and released and give their spots to these hopeful invitees.
