Red and green are back, on the Bucks' redesigned playing court and in the team's uniforms. Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut served as fashion models on Thursday night, wearing the new home and road uniforms at a season tip-off event at the Bradley Center. Redd wore the home white uniform, with the Bucks nameplate in red and green, with red and green trim down the sides. The 7-foot Bogut wore the forest green road jersey, with a red-and-white trimmed nameplate and white and red trim. "I'm biased," Redd said. "My last name is Redd, and I love the red in it. "We've got eight new teammates and new uniforms, and it's a new start for us." The Bucks will begin pre-season camp on Tuesday at the Cousins Center, after holding their annual media day on Monday. It will be a much different looking Bucks team, with the departures of point guard T.J. Ford, center Jamaal Magloire and veteran forwards Joe Smith and Toni Kukoc. New to the team are power forward Charlie Villanueva, forwards Ruben Patterson and Brian Skinner and point guard Steve Blake. "It was huge," Redd said of the June trade that sent Ford to the Raptors in exchange for the 6-foot-11 Villanueva, the seventh overall pick in the 2005 draft. "Charlie had an impressive rookie year. He came in and learned, got better throughout the year. We're expecting big things from him this year. "Obviously, Ruben is a great defensive player, a tough-nosed player, someone who is going to get after it every night." Redd said he had a great summer. He was married to Achea Williams in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio, in August, and earlier in the summer he trained with the U.S. men's basketball team. He did not play with the bronze medal-winning Team USA in the World Championships in Japan, due to his wedding plans. But he is expected to have a chance to play in 2007 in the Olympic qualifying tournament and in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. "I'm definitely looking forward to next year," Redd said. "It was a learning experience for us. We could have won with that team we had over there. It just didn't work out. "We should settle for nothing less than a gold medal every time we play. I'm honored just to be on the team. However they want to use me, I'm fine."</div> Source Schaddy these are your Bucks.
