we probly would have drafted a big man this year instead of JJ and losing Deshawn wouldn't have been as big of a deal. What if we would have taken the suns trade (Shawn Marion, Joe Johnson, filler) instead of the Houston Trade?
we would be sickly amazing right now...imagine...jameer, johnson, marion, dwight, battie...or we could play suns ball and put marion at the 4 and either hedo or hill at the 3 with dwight at the 5 what if we never traded chris webber's rights?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TheHighness:</div><div class="quote_post">What if we would have taken the suns trade (Shawn Marion, Joe Johnson, filler) instead of the Houston Trade?</div> Did the Suns really offer that? I thought we offered that to them but they declined which made us settle for the Houston deal. If the Suns offered that and we passed it up then damn, that's sad. Jameer, Johnson, Marion, Darko, and Dwight would grant us at least one finals appearence (at least until Johnson's contract ran out at the end of that season and we had to pay for all those guys). But, don't mind me, back to the game.

Marion alone is better than Francis, Mobley, and Cato combined. To answer d-money's What if statement, if we never traded Webber we wouldn't have gotten Penny. Penny and Shaq took us to the Finals and I don't think we would have had the same success with a Webber-Shaq duo. I think we made the right move. What if we hadn't traded Gooden and Varejao to the Cavs?
we wouldnt have battie, and we'd have a disgruntled drew gooden because he would be playing behind dwight and darko, he thinks hes better than both cause of his ego what if fran never screwed us analy
Then we might not have traded for Darko. I think everything worked out in the end. What if we drafted Gerald Green over Fran Vazquez?
didnt i already ask that question??? anyways if i didnt the answer is we would have an amazing 2 guard in g-dub what if grant hill never had "THE" injury?
We wouldn't have Dwight but if Grant was Healthy I don't know if we would need him. I doubt T-mac would have been traded and we would have a hell of a team. What if we didn't trade that #1 pick (Amare) to the Suns for Pat Garrity?
We would now (if amare plays like he did before the injury) have a killer Twin Towers. sorry, no idea for a "what if" question..
Then that would never be a memorable Magic highlight in this franchise. What if the Magic never traded Nick Anderson for Tariq Abdul Wahad??
we wouldn't have sucked that year, and would have made the playoffs what if we never drafted jeryl sasser and steven hunter btw: notice how a lot of questions are about drafts...doesnt that tell you something? (we've had 3 maybe 4 good drafts...shaq, penny, mike miller, dwight/jameer...im not considering this draft good yet because we don't know how things will pan out)
We wouldnt have had to rebuild so many times and we could have had some quality players in those drafts. What if Nick made those free throws???
im surprised no one has posted that one, and also surprised i didnt remember it... to answer your question: the magic would have won game 1 for sure and built momentum going into game 2 which they could have won off of that, a 2-0 lead going into houston hoping for 1 win would have been amazing and the magic that year would have been up 3-2 going back to orlando for games 6 and 7 (im pretty sure it was the 2-3-2 format that year too)
