The Nets' known and unknown quantities give the team the potential to be "something special". Critical, he says, to the team's ultimate success are the young players starting with Marcus Williams.</div>

What's with all of these articles? Some writers think the Nets will suck, others think we will do good.

That's because everybody has a different opinion. I personally think that the Nets would suck without Carter, and I know I'm right, that's why he should leave. He needs to prove to all you Nets fans that you really honestly need him, and you do. You guys would suck without him. Nobody can do anything without Carter, Kidd no, Jefferson no, Krystic no. The Nets team just stares at Carter in awe and lets him do everything. Tell me Nets fans, is that fair, is it? You use and exploit Carter and say that Kidd is better. Who ya foolin? Carter should take his act out of Jersey to teach ya'll a lesson.

Without Carter, Kidd, Jefferson, or Krstic the Nets wouldn't be the same.

or they could finish out of the playoffs- they have an ageing superstar in j.kidd and two explosive, all star guards, who also happen to be injury prone.

You really need to grow up.

Carter is the scorer of the team, and in fact a great scorer. Without him we would really struggle but you give too much credit. He does everything? Then why not just let him play 1 against 5. Btw, how good is his defense? In crunchtime I remember the Nets putting Kidd to defend Kobe. That's.....just so weird isn't it?

Their different player so you can't say one is better than the other. Kidd is the better point guard and Carter is the better shooting guard. End of story.

Some of you statements are just really childish.
