<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">your BORING team exciting.</div> Now that's baiting. You don't see me insulting your favorite teams, so keep your stupid comments to yourself. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Yah, okay put him on the market and see who doesn't want him.. lol.. you'll say anything to keep him.</div> Well the only current teams that are interested in Carter are the Magic and the Nets. In fact Orlando is much more interested in Josh Howard.
<div class="quote_poster">hollagr8 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Yah, okay put him on the market and see who doesn't want him.. lol.. you'll say anything to keep him. This is hilarious. Everybody wants him, smart guy. He's very marketable and he makes your BORING team exciting.</div> This seems very true, well at least to my viewpoint. We all know the nets are decent with Carter, but when have the nets done anything spectacular without Kenyon or Carter?
IDK jefferson is pretty sweet too. Hes also making alot of highlight reels. But ya...carter is basically everything to New jersey. I think it would be better to trade carter now because they can get more back for him. Also, i think the nets could be a great defensive running team. If they kept kidd and jefferson and loaded up on defense and athletisizm (with a couple outside shooters) they could be a really good team. I just think that the post players that they have in jersey are jokes. oh ya....until kidd turns nenad into KG because kidd makes players careers.
^Hmm have you ever watched Krstic play? He is easily a top 10 center, maybe better, and it's only his third year.
<div class="quote_poster">Answer_AI03 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">hahaha, no the nets are not better than the kings or the spurs. The only reason the kings didnt make it to the second round was because they had to play the spurs in the first. The spurs are probably the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NBA. IMO, the nets should just not take the chance of carter leaving and make a trade for another player, or players, that might add up to his value. They could definately add some more tough post players, and better defenders. I also think that if carter was gone RJ could step up and become an all-star.</div> And where has your team been lately?
<div class="quote_poster">Answer_AI03 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">IDK jefferson is pretty sweet too. Hes also making alot of highlight reels. </div> Man your idea of a good player are highlight reels?... You should stick to street ball. The NBA is not for you dude.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And where has your team been lately?</div> WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? you have more stupid posts than any other person in this forum, and theres alot of them. In no place in this entire thread does it say anything about the sixers. All i was stating was a fact, and that is that the nets ARE NOT BETTER than the kings, and MOST DEFINATELY not better than the spurs. Your a complete morron if you think they are. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Man your idea of a good player are highlight reels?... You should stick to street ball. He's actually one of my favorite players, and probably the teams best rebounder as well. your posts mean absolutely nothing and most of them dont even have a point. The only thing you care about is making kidd look like god, which he is not, and bashing other posts that actually mean somthing. You should try using your brain before you type something, that is if your not too buisy beating off to a pic of jason kidd.
<font color=""Red"">Answer_A103, I agree sometimes AMS_ice praises Kidd too much, and hates on Carter too much, but there is no need to insult him. If all your gonna do here is make stupid posts which may offend other members, I suggest you change with your ways or else you'll be getting in trouble soon enough.</font>

Your idea of a great player is someone who scores a lot and highlight reels. What are you? 8? You don't have a clue of what the game is about. And as for stupid posts, don't worry your still no.1! Beating off a Jason Kid pic? Take your hands off little ai before you say that.

It's just funny how others find a way to bash Kidd using Vince. Well anyway. The fact is, Jason Kidd and Vince Carter are on the same team. And no matter how others try to pit them against each other, they are on 1 team. And truth is they both respect each other and like playing together. The Nets have a "big three". Which can't be said for the others.
Ok now it's really getting out of hand. I am giving <u>one</u> more warning or else I will ask a Mod to close this thread.
Each of my posts have had a point, and for the people who dont understand them, i will reiderate: the nets should trade carter now and not take the chance of loosing him later, because there is a pretty decent chance that he could leave. The nets are in need of some good on man defenders, and some tougher post players. I think alot of teams would want carter right now and would be willing to give up fair value for him. Furthermore, if Carter was gone Jefferson could step up and take his place as the teams #1 option. He is an extremely well rounded player, and probably a top 5 in athletisism in the league. He can pass shoot, and maybe the second best rebounding sf in the league. (next to marion). I think the nets would do better anyway if carter wasnt there taking up shots. A team offensive system is whats needed here.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I think alot of teams would want carter right now and would be willing to give up fair value for him.</div> Which teams exactly and who would they give up? Why would some teams want to trade for him if they believe that he will leave NJ when he is a freeagent? All they would have to do is wait.
because teams who dont have the money to sign him can make a trade for him, and at the same time, if they loose carter they have cap room when he leaves. For some reason i just dont see carter staying in jersey
Carter is still a good player, but as good as he is, his stock has considerably gone down from what it used to be. Teams won't gamble too much for Carter. The best situation for him is with the Nets. Truth is New Jersey won't be able to get an equal trade for Vince. Unless a straight up trade is made or if the Nets can get a 4 or 5, their better off waiting out Carter's contract and take their chances till the end of the season. It's a different situation for Carter. In his first few years, Carter was considered a monster player and every other team wants him. He's stats may have been consistent but his value has dipped throught the years. In 10 seasons, Carter has been Rookie of the Year/All Rookie Team (1999), All NBA Second team (2001), All NBA Third Team (2000) and Slam Dunk Champ (2000). Not really much for a player who's hype was so big when he came into the league, he was one of the players dubbed as the next Michael Jordan.
^Do injuries mean nothing to you? Same thing is happening to Amare. He could have been a top 50 all-time player, but he's lost explosiveness, the key to his game, and will never be the same.
Carter is still top 5 sg in the league. i think alot of teams would want him if they thought he was on the block. I think it would do them some good to get rid of him now and get some good bigs back. How could he turn down playing with Howard and Darko in Orlando? or get a ton of money from charlette? i think he will more than likely leave.
