<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOISE - It wasn't easy to tell which was the more forceful indicator of Deron Williams' intentions Friday night: his words or his play. The second-year point guard doesn't lack for confidence, and his declaration after the Jazz's first preseason scrimmage game proved it: "My goal is to be an All-Star every year now," Williams said. That sentiment didn't seem particularly audacious after Williams dominated his own teammates on Boise State's court, leading his Blue team to an 80-47 rout of the White. The Jazz's prize lottery pick scored a team-high 18 points on a mixture of long jumpers, fast-break layups and a couple of especially impressive rampages along the baseline and to the hoop. Best of all, Williams energized his teammates - he was teamed with Mehmet Okur, Andrei Kirilenko, C.J. Miles and Jarron Collins much of the night - into an offensive and defensive show that appeared ripped straight out of the Jazz's playbook. </div> http://www.sltrib.com/ci_4457024 <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">BOISE — Jazz big man Carlos Boozer recently suggested he had heard through the grapevine how point guard Deron Williams had taken his game to another level this past summer. "I'm looking forward to seeing how much he's improved," Boozer said. During three days' worth of closed-to-the-media training-camp sessions earlier this week at Boise State University, Boozer got his answer. During an open-to-the-public practice Friday night at BSU's Taco Bell Arena, the banned reporters got theirs. It seems to be same: Wow, has he ever.</div> http://www.deseretnews.com/dn/view/0,1249,650196895,00.html
I've had faith in Deron Williams when we picked him. I know Paul had better stats last year, but if Paul was on Utah, he would of never played last year. Deron Williams even out did Paul in the Match-ups we had against the NOK Hornets. I can't wait until this year starts.....
Deron Williams definitely has a potential to be an all star. I went and watched him last year against the Dallas Mavericks and they were down by like 18 points and Deron Williams and the Jazz came back and almost won. I was really impressed with him. He will be a star in this league and I hope he can step it up and get the Jazz to the Playoffs.

I don't care how strict a coach is, your other PG's were Milt Palacio and Keith Mcleod, and Mcleod only played 66 games, and Milt 71, Paul would've had to play even if he didn't impress the coach, but I don't think that would've been the case.
