Robinson on the other hand sees himself a bit differently. Even at 39 closing in on 40, Robinson thinks he can get better. He liked what he did--on the court--last year but came into camp in better shape this year than last.</div>

I think Robinson is a quality backup, and has plenty of experience. I don't know if he could improve much considering his age. Maybe he will make a vow to stop marijuana use during the post season. That would be an improvement for the Nets.

Robinson is great. He would be better if he had a post game.

There's only so much you can ask a 40 year old player to give. That's how desperate we are. We expect Uncle Cliffy to do everything upfront.

Yeah, we didn't even get to pick up a key free agent big man. Maybe we make some trades.

Their weren't many big men to pick up. The ones that were there weren't really interested in joining the Nets, or wanted too much money.

We don't have anybody to trade. The players that teams are interested in, we aren't willing to trade and for a good reason.

Sad but true. Only the Nets would hold on to a 40 year old headache player.

He may have been the most consistent player off the bench. That's whats sad about it. Robinson at this stage can't play anywhere else. If your idea of a good player is Robinson, I suggest you watch more games. [IMG]

umm are you kidding me, robinson for his age is a good player on both sides of the ball, but im sure you know cause you watch so many nets games, robinson hustles and does all the things we need him to do off the bench, were not expecting him to go out and get 20 points and be a all star player, hes on the floor to defend get a few boards and score a few points, adn extend the defense with his shooting, and if we released him i bet a lot of teams would of tried to sign him
