<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (DolfanDale)</div><div class='quotemain'>I'm not going to apologize for picking the Colts. The Colts did have a pretty good season this year. Of course, I didn't give the Steelers zero chance and I never said that the Colts were unbeatable. I expected the Steelers to be tough. BA does have a point though. For Steeler fans to suggest that it's an insult to even possibly think that their opponents might win is to be disrespectful to your competition. The Colts didn't lay down for the Steelers and came real close to making a successful comeback. Just be glad that the Colts got off to a rough start and the Steelers managed to run time out.</div>
Sorry DD, I missed this post.

Reacting, I would say if you saw my first reaction, it was congratulating Indy on a great season. Indy was favored for a reason and would win that game probably 6 or 7 times for every 10 times it was played. My Beef was only that no one gave Pittsburgh much of a chance all week. That was irritating when I know as a football fan and a Steelerfan that it just wasn't the case. The Steelers were a very underrated 6th seed in the fact that they were 11-5 and could have easily been 13-3.

The other part about Steeler fans suggesting that it was insulting to think that the Colts might win is incorrect. Most people here weren't giving the Steelers much of a chance to win. Most of the people that I know thought we'd keep it close but didn't think we'd pull it off. I was pretty much on my own all week.

I'm happy the way the game ended because we won. The Steelers were the better team today, they outplayed the Colts. The rest is piss and wind.

For all of those reading this thread, please understand that the "I told you so" is a joke, as anyone here that knows me, knows that it's not really my nature.

    It's all in fun....</div>
Actually, I thought the "I told you so" was more my nature, but then again, I know how much SF looks up to me. [IMG]

If you say so. But, misanthrophic skeptic that I am has yet to be satisfied.

Something about modesty & graciousness bears repeating but then I'M NOT PERFECT so I'd look kind of stupid rehashing it, wouldn't I?

I'll give my condolences for you Steelers fans having to watch a bunch of cheaters who make game plans to hit QBs late because they realize it's the only way to win [IMG]

Well I've wanted the Broncos to make it to the Super Bowl since they locked up a playoff spot. LETS GO DENVER!!! until the Seahawks face them in the Super Bowl.

The Steelers will slap the shit out of Denver if they play like they did today. And no, I'm not saying that because I'm a Pats fan; I'm saying it because the Broncos really aren't as good as the Steelers. The Steelers won't make the dumbass mistakes that we made and they will win the game. Period.

Damn... Half of me wanted the Colts to win because I'm a Ravens fan, and the other half of me wanted the Steelers to win for the whole "underdog" thing. I was at a huge crossroad. Congrats on the win.

Yeah, I know the feeling. When the Ravens won the Superbowl back in 2000, I had a hard time rooting for them in the playoffs. But they were just so damn impressive that year, it was hard not to. Plus nobody thought they could do it. It's fun to root for the dog, but it's always tough when that dog is a division rival!

Let's see if we can steal a win out in Denver.....

well i'm not gonna apoligize because if u look in the predictions it says...

    Pittsburgh 24 - Indy 21 (upset special)

the reason i picked the steelers because they are on a huge run and they are hot coming into the playoffs and Indy wasnt they didnt really have a meaningful game in over a month plus there are a lot of things going against them. so i guess i'm the new oracle i might i even almost got the score three point difference and its was 21-18 instead of 24-21. its a gift

I guess im rooting for Jerome Bettis(not the Steelers) I'd like to see him and Curtis Martin get theres, So I hope the bus is able to drive off with a ring, and hopefully in some way Curtis Martin gets one too.

Damn right, I think the Steelers are going to win the Super Bowl this year if they don't play a complete cluster f*** of a game like we did. The Steelers are my #2 team so they better win it, lol. My #3 team is Kansas City so I've only got one team I like left in the playoffs this season.

The only teams I can root for are the Panthers and the Seahawks, and only one can make it to the playoffs.

Did Ricky Prohel ever win a Superbowl ring? Was he with Lambs when they won it?

OK. I'm man enough to admit that I didn't give the Steeler's much of a chance. Taking a page from Adam Sandler's playbook, I offer up this concession...

    I?m stupid, you're snart.
    I was wrong,
    you were right.
    You're the best,
    I?m the worst.
    You're very good-Looking,
    I?m not attractive.

Congrats Steelerfan. The Steelers went out and took it! Good luck!
