I thought of getting rid of my Baron Davis (orange) and Mikael Pietrus (blue City) jerseys last season. Good thing I didn't. Now under Coach Don Nelson, I may start the season wearing those as both of those guy's careers seem rejuvenated. MP may be the starting SF. This season I'm looking at getting an Andris Biedrins, Monta Ellis or Ike Diogu model. It's good to get different models of jerseys as the seasons change. Best retro Warrior jerseys: Wilt Chamberlain - San Francisco Warriors Rick Barry - San Francisco Warriors Nate Thurmond - San Francisco Warriors
I've already got a Pietrus "The City" jersey and a J-Rich "Phila" jersey so this year I'll probably get a Baron, Ike, or Monta jersey ad probably just a white home jersey. I've also got a blue away Gilbert Arenas jersey from when I was like 12 laying around somewhere, he was by far my favorite player back then.
Getting a MDJ jersey is low risk since theres no way we can trade his bloated contract, so you don't have to worry about having a jersey of a player who isn't on the team. Same goes for Adonal Foyle.
Warriors jerseys... waste of money for me LOL. Hey guys ever notice this? Baron Davis was number 1 on his Hornets Jersey. Now he is five. Carlos Boozer was number 1 on his Cavs jersey. Now he is five. Both are making max contract bucks (also coincidence that they are both oft injured). If you take the old jersey number (1) and overlap it with the new jersey number (5), it looks like a dollar sign $. I know, lame.

We can only hope that Baron gets better and proves his worth this season. He's got a running team now. Jerseys are fun to wear sometimes. They show your colors and can start up conversations. Of course, if your player is not doing well then it's another story.
...Or if they get traded or sign somewhere else. To me the Warriors uni bleeds of an organization that prides itself on perpetual incompetence, but they've got a great fanbase like us to just exploit. We take it like battered wife syndrome of course. Maybe the other casual warriors fans have lost interest... There's just nothing great about a predictable organization that doesn't know what they are doing in making a winning team. They just know all about the money side and how to make great PR moves.
I just realized I probably am killing everyone's vibe. Sorry LOL! Go Warriors! Woo hoo! Can't wait for the draft! I mean season!
