Mikki is gonna play hard and give all he's got when he's on the floor, thats for sure. Where does he fall on the depth chart? You guys have Kristic, Collins starting. Is Moore competing with Josh Boone?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Is Moore competing with Josh Boone?</div> Boone is out till around December and Moore has plenty of time to show he deserves to get minutes.
I think they underrated Mikki in all the 2k games especially because they say he's a quick guy with hops and he only has a 65 rating on his his speed.Since they don't have jumping attribute in 2k games,I guess a 70 dunk rating is good for him.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Hopefully he turns out like Kenyon Martin.</div> Haha yea! That's a really long stretch. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I think they underrated Mikki in all the 2k games especially because they say he's a quick guy with hops and he only has a 65 rating on his his speed.Since they don't have jumping attribute in 2k games,I guess a 70 dunk rating is good for him.</div> Your using a video game as a reference?
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Haha yea! That's a really long stretch.</div> Just trying to be optimistic.
I think if he gets the minutes, he'll contribute. Afterall he is a 70 in dunks in all of the 2k games.
No bball IQ to speak of but plenty of athleticism. It's up to him. Kenyon was smart to go along with his athleticism. Rarely made the mistakes that Mikki does...aside from Kenyon's bad attitude the first years in the league.
<div class="quote_poster">giftedvisionz Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Moore can be effective, as long as he can help us get some stops on the defensive end.</div> Well I don't know about his man to man defense, he's very very thin for a C, so I'm not sure about that. <div class="quote_poster">Carter Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Hopefully he turns out like Kenyon Martin.</div> People underatte the fact that Martin is actually a fairly skilled offensive player, but his main value also came in his defensive ability. He was athletic, and used that, but he knew where to be, how to get open, and he could score in iso situations too, and defensively he was very good man to man. For example, look at how Martin stayed exactly the same in offensive output going from New Jersey to Denver. Now Mikki can score, I won't say he can't, give him starters minutes, and he'll put up double digits on 50%+ FG, but he won't give you the man defense, rebounding, and shot blocking that warrants him to stay on the floor for so long.
