<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Everyone in Joe Champs American Sports Bar knew where Allen Iverson was sitting - second floor, first row, in front of the big-screen television on the left - to watch the Eagles-Dallas game.

That's because every time the Cowboys did something good, Iverson (gasp!) stood up, turned around to face his teammates, coaches and 76ers staff, and cheered.

But Iverson comes by his Dallas loyalty naturally. It has nothing to do with the fact that the Cowboys have that Terrell Owens fellow, and everything to do with the fact that he's been a Dallas fan since he was 5 years old.

"I grew up a Cowboys fan," Iverson said yesterday as European media members probably wondered why a writer from Philadelphia would ask the first question at his news conference at Kolnarena about what they like to call "American football."

"Everybody in my house was a Cowboys fan. So that's really all I knew as a kid was the Cowboys. Now to be in Philadelphia for the last 10 years and be around so many of the Eagles, you can't help but like those guys, too.

"It was just fun to watch the game. It was like a win-win situation for me, honestly. It was good to see Donovan (McNabb) play the way he played and to see Lito (Sheppard) come back and play the way he played and to see (Brian) Westbrook play despite his injury.

"I honestly look at the Eagles team and I definitely see championship aspirations. They've got a chance to win it all, especially with their coaching staff. A lot of times you care so much about the offense but their defense has played great. You've got to be a fan of Jim Johnson," the Eagles' defensive coordinator.</div>

I've learned something new today. I never knew Iverson was a Cowboys fan. Wasn't he born in Virginia? How did that happen

Now many 76ers/Eagles fans would be happy to trade Iverson.
