Wayne sounds like he's got a case of the chickenpox or something.
Cham's voice is good sounding? Dude's voice is as monotone as it gets, which actually turns me off from his music as well. He stays on topic, but in a lot of songs he doesn't have lines that come at you or stand out. I'm done aruging about Wayne though, he is garbage to people based on a few songs they've heard, hey, it is what it is. Weezy is still sick.
new Jay Z track leaked called Lost Ones produced by Dr. Dre its on hiphopgame.com, and I'm feeling the track
argh i want to like this but Dre has really lost his touch on this new track "Lost Ones" it sounds like one of Havoc's throwaways and so has Jay oh well at least the Roots are still on fire
Late response, but will comment anyways with some of JayZ's tracks being leaked and the first viedo out. Never really have felt a lot of JayZ's stuff until he released The Black Album (which is one of my favorite albums). His new viedo released track is hard to play... the beat actually isn't bad, but Jay doesn't sound good over it... and the lyrics arn't anything to go nuts about. I have never purchased a Hova album (had them all burned)... but I will probably pick this one up. P.S. Speaking of staying on topic, you guys couldn't even accomplish that in this thread. Misdirecting someone's opinion by saying "You like [Insert Rapper], so your thoughts don't count" isn't a valid arguement.

I really like "Lost Ones". The instrumentals were okay... nothing special, but the lyrics behind it were deep. From talking about splitting up with the Roc to his dead nephew, the song was thought-provoking. I wonder how many of Hov's songs are gonna be leaked out before the album drops. That was already three in a couple of weeks.
I just got that album and I'm listening to it atm. It sounds great. I like Jay-Z's music much. "Black Album" and "Reasonable Doubt" were great also. I listen the all album and after that I'll listen the better songs with lyrics also.
Chris Martin from Coldplay and Jay-Z do a song together? Or was what I was reading completely false? Jay-Z is one of the few rappers I listen to (Lupe Fiasco being the other). . Show Me What You Got has a pretty cool video, and Kingdom Come is a nice song. I should check out the others.
Yes he did a song with the Coldplay dude, called Beach Chair, and its probably the best song on the album. CD is 4/5
I got this bad boy today. When I first listened to it I didnt really feel it, then I listened to it again and I honestly think this is a badass album. "Beach Chair" is the best song on this for sure I could listen to it all day. Also "Dig a Hole" "Kingdom Come" "Lost Ones" those are also really good. I have to give HOVA a 9/10 for this one.
This album is disappointing, what happened to Jay Z's flow? His pace sounds more like 50 Cent, than the change up rhythms Jigga normally spits. I've only listened through it twice, but so far I can only praise the beats, everything else is subpar.

It grew on me a lot.

This album is a gimmick album and I don't think JayZ put the usual effort into making it an instant classic. I prefer JayZ rapping over raw beats and blowing me away with his lyrics. This album has too, much pop appeal for my taste.
