Has anyone read the manga (Japanese comic) Slam Dunk! Or watch the anime? It's about highschool basketball in Japan (where some players look like they're black lol). Pretty entertaining I thought, if anyone wants the manga let me know, I got it on my PC (translated version).
That's pretty hardcore, man. I've tried reading comix on the pc, it's a pain. I feel like I need to print them out.
It's not so bad on the eyes... You must be getting old I think you'd like the comic. It's about some guy who joins the basketball team to impress a girl. But he ends up getting into the game and shows his progress as a new player. Like all the fundamentals he learns and etc.

It sounds like one of those comics where everyone has these street fighter moves with lines in the background and people say "..." and "!" a lot.
Nah... it's not like that. No super human powers or anything. Just basketball. I'll find some way to send it to you... theres no escape custodian!
Slam Dunk was the whole reason why I started to play and watch basketball. And I am sure that's reason why millions of Asians start to play basketball as well. Heck, I didn't even like basketball before I read that manga...
It's that good, huh? I'll give it a try sometime. The only kind of comics I've read like that was Fist of North Star. Hilarious stuff. This huge Bruce Lee looking character takes a gigantic 20 foot long steel construction beam and pummels a guy mercilessly. Oh yeah, the comic was read backwards to front, instead of front to back.

I'll try to find some way to upload it. Locke, I don't think the anime did finish. Or finish up to how the manga ended.
