JS ONLINE-- "If there was one player last year who was squeezed out of minutes through no undoing of his own, it was Dan," Stotts said. "And he handled it professionally."

I'm sure Dan will produce once he gets the minutes. Before last season he had one of the best per-48 minutes rebounding numbers, but you can't show much of that when you only get 12 minutes a game, and mostly in garbage time.

He's definitely going to produce. He is the reason that it made no sense for us to go get Magloire last year. Danny can run the floor, crashes the boards, can score in the paint, and gives us a ton of energy and enthusiasm. I know I'm biased because I like the guy, but if he were to get 30+ minutes per night, I can't see why he wouldn't average a double double and more than a block per game. He's not going to go out and give you 25 and 15, but every night he's gonna be there with 8 points 7 boards, or 12 points 5 boards and 2 blocks, stuff like that. He's active and he's got enough talent that when he's getting minutes, he proves himself a valuable part of our team.

A very underrated player. I was all for the Raps making a big push for him a while ago, when him and Pachulia were free agents. I like the potential of him and Charlie V, even if it is only a short-term solution. You got one player who's not afraid to bang down low, be a spark, and do the dirty work. And then you have a perfect compliment in a finesse forward that can light it up, when given a capable partner.
