    He is a great player and that fact that he doesn't mind giving Carter the chance to be the first option is awesome. He looks more like a role player on the Nets, but if he went to a team where he would be the first option, then we would see he is an allstar.

    Jefferson's ability to accept his role as a secondary option and not force it makes him a very efficient scorer. It's really a good thing, because if he was the first option, and Vince the second, he would be shooting percentages similar to Vince's, while Vince would not be shooting 50% from the field.

    This is why I like Richard Jefferson so much. He would take the backseat to a star player. Like Kidd said, if Jefferson goes on a team, and becomes thier first option, he will become an all-star. RJ really deserves a ring, and with the team hes currently playing for, his chance may be closer than ever (besides the when it was Kidd's prime).
