Brian Hill, Orlando: He quickly got the Magic's prospects looking up, hoping to win with young prodigy Dwight Howard the way he once persevered with Shaquille O'Neal. Those were the glory days, before the big man was dealt and chaos ensued in the form of a Penny Hardaway-led revolt. It's been a long road back, but Hill is a good fit to restore Orlando's winning tradition.</div>

I totally agree d-money12. Brian Hill, when coaching this team, has done a really good job. Sure he had Shaq, but now he has Dwight Howard. He did a pretty good job last season and I'm sure the Magic will do even better with him coaching Orlando his 2nd year.

Coach rankings are very hard to do, sometimes a coach get's too much credit because he inherits a good team, and sometimes a coach get's too little credit for his abilities because he has a bad team. In addition to that, we can also differentiate between the good coaches and the bad coaches, but between the middle guys, there's not really much to use for ranking them.

yeah that's why i think saunders shouldnt be that high, if anything he should be a lot lower cause he didnt do what LB did, get them to the finals...also the same thing with pat riley

But it isn't necessarily easy by any means... a coach that inherits a good team still has to play to the teams abilities and strong points... they also have to make sure that they make good adjustments and good game plans. I think that Saunders did a really good job with the Pistons and turned up their offense.

Brian Hill to me should be ranked in the top 10. This year that will certainly be the case. Hill has done so much after we went through jent, rivers, davis... the list goes on... He has instilled a confidence in the Magic and the players on the Magic will only get as good as they are coached. I think it's stupid to rank players and coaches especially before the season even starts...
