OCREGISTER -- "Everybody that I've talked to that plays against him and plays against him in the summertime, they tell me that he has more to his game than he was able to showcase in Seattle," Read More...
Nice read I think we'll have to wait til the all star game b4 we can judge him fairly. He needs to fit in to the lakers system which isn't easy then once he's fitted in lets hope he becomes productive and the guy the lakers hope he would be when they bought him.
Triangle or no triangle..... 2-7 fg first game, and 1-8 fg second game? Sorry, that's not acceptable, I'm not counting him out just yet, but he hasn't made a good first impression on me. Cookie came in yesterday shooting lights out. THe best shooters on our team I believe rank like this: 1. Kobe 2. Cook 3. Sasha 4. Vlad I know Sasha will come through this year, he will be a lot more confident, has put on some size, and if he already shot well in the playoffs, that leads me to believe come regular season, this kid will be ready, and will start shooting in-Game how he does in practice.
In fairness to Radman, he was trying to create offense instead of doing his typical catch and shoot routine. He did get to the line 6 times (eventhough he only made 3), but he also set up Kwame for some easy dunks. Being able to take his man off the dribble seperates him from Cook. Once Radman gets to play alongside Kobe and Odom, we'll see his FG% and shot selection improve dramatically. The player who I've been disappointed in so far is Shammond Williams. He's a matador defender and Earl Watson went anywhere he wanted with the ball last night. Fortunately, Watson can't shoot very well from long range, but he had some easy layups when Shammond was guarding him. So far Farmar >>>> Shammond.
You just never know with Radman. One night he'll be shooting lights out, he'll be able to get to the rim and grab 8 boards. The next night, he'll vanish and go 1-9 with 2 rebounds.
Radman needs expierence and consistency. I dont think he will be a starter just for the fact that he needs to learn the triangle first. I definitely see Walton starting at small. Luke is playing with confidence and swagger. I think will take at least half of the season to adjust.

Luke Walton looks solid out there, and he's perfected that spinning fadeaway jumper of his. I noticed Kwame's a lot more under control when Walton's out there with him. Luke knows how to give Kwame soft easy passes, and delivers the pass with the proper angles so Kwame can seal the defender and make a move to the basket. At least the Lakers have the luxury of experimenting with the starting lineup this season.
