    As most of you Seahawks fans know as of Sunday Seattle will be the only team league history to have played in both the AFC & NFC championship games.

    huh thats pretty crazy...expansions had to come in and make that possible

    Yes the Seahawks were in the AFC West from 1976-2001 and then three divisions in each conference went to four divisions and the Seahawks went to the NFC.

    Actually, the Seahawks were in the NFC West in 1976 and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in the AFC West. They switched conferences after their expansion seasons.

    well, i nevetr knew that Tampa was in AFC.
