great find smitty. i think i remember deepak chopra saying that if ants died off the world would perish in five years, yet if the same thing happened to us , the world would thrive
That was real interesting. I don't know what to say, except that humanity is like the cancer/AIDS/bird flu of Earth's species. <div class="quote_poster">M Two One Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Here's a good question for everyone .. Are you afraid to die?</div> Not really.
Man I sometimes feel that I will die in my sleep. Like in my dream, I just somehow feel that I am unable to breath. I just feel like I cant breath when I sleep, its only in my dreams. What can I do?

Umair, religiously speaking. . don't interpret your dreams. Let 'em be. You're in God's plan somewhere, and normally I only remember the dreams I am completely terrified of. But. . don't worry -- it'll go away. As for the thread. . that's incredibly interesting. If there was a nuclear war between countries, how would the surviving (if any) countries deal with the waste? Where do massive amounts of nuclear waste go? And as for M Two One's question. . I just don't know how to fear death. It's hard to percieve death, therefore I can't really fear it. Obviously "fear the unknown" but I see death as a fountain of knowledge .. like all will be revealed to you once you die. But thinking about dying makes me a bit uneasy, I'd like to do many things before I die.

That was a religiously speaking comment directed at a fellow Muslim. You didn't need to comment on it or even read it. Apologies if I offended anyone, maybe I should've taken it to PM.
btw why do people care what the earth is like if humans died? No one would be around to appreciate it anyway.
God damn I-Miss-MJ, that was the best point brought up in this thread. You just nullified all other points, incredible.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">btw why do people care what the earth is like if humans died? No one would be around to appreciate it anyway.</div> Maybe you could die happy, knowing that our destruction of earth had been put to a stop. I hate humans.

I don't think the chart is meant to persuade people to kill themselves for the better of Earth. But, rather, it illustrates how negative of an effect we are on the environment and shows the extent of the damage we have inflicted.
<div class="quote_poster">M Two One Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Here's a good question for everyone .. Are you afraid to die?</div> By myself, yes. But if everyone were to die tommorow, I guess I would just embrace with really no emotion. I believe theres something on the other side, and I`d be ready for it. Hopefully whatever would take us out, wouldn`t be painful.
