VC will make his preseason debut after missing two games with bruised ribs. Jason Kidd and Boki Nachbar are also expected to play, but Nenad Krstic is questionable. The Raptors will have a cast of international stars--Andrea Bargnani, Jose Garbajosa and Anthony Parker. Garbajosa is the first Raptor to wear Carter's old number 15 since VC left.</div>

Raptors should win this one. They won their first two pre-season games and they're on fire.

Lol its not about who wins to me. Imo the score will not realate to which team won, but which team's rookies, role players and bench play better.

Yeah I really want to see the players stats and how they improved especially Vince, JKidd, RJ, Krstic, and Marcus Williams.

So far Kidd has 8 pts and 7 asts in 12 mins. Not bad.
Carter is struggling shooting 5-15.

Collins has 7 pts and 8 rebs in 9 mins. Woah that's unexpecting.

M.Williams 9 pts and 6 asts.

Nets lose but I have to say our young guys played well. Wright is really impressing and he finished with 21 pts and 2 asts. Can he provide this during the regular season? M.Williams finished with 16 pts 9 asts and 4 rebs

Here are the rest of the stats
Kidd 8 pts 7 asts 4 rebs
Carter 10 pts 6 asts 2 rebs
Nachbar 17 pts 3 rebs
Adams 7 pts 5 rebs
Collins 8 pts 7 rebs

No RJ? So what are we like 0-3? The bad news is we ar losing, the good news is the young guys are playing great and this is just the preseason anything can happen in the regular season.

More Good News:
<ul>
[*]VC can still rise high based on his one hand alley oop over Bargnani.
[*]Antoine Wright looks like a new player
More Bad News (somewhat:
<ul>
[*]Jay Williams was limping a bit after possibly turning his ankle. Was very ineffective. I was hoping it would work out for him, but he seems to have lost a lot of lateral quickness, which is vital for a PG. I hope he can pull it together, but I doubt it.
You guys really lucked out w/ snagging Marcus Williams. Kinda sucks knowing that we could've got him instead had we not traded away Denver's pick.

It's preseason who cares? Our starters only play around 12-18 mins.

If we didn't trade that pick we wouldn't have Garbajosa, Freddy, and Parker.

I had to work, but I did get to watch most of the game and here's what I saw:

- Antoine Wright has so much more confidence, is shooting better, and is playing pretty damn good D. The Raptors announcers were raving over his D on MoPete. He will be a solid contributor off the bench.
-Marcus Williams is a stud, he will be great one day. He would probably be rookie of the year if he wasn't behind one of the pgs in the game.
-Hassan Adams could make the rotation. He plays bigger than 6'4" much like Tucker.
-Ilic looks out of place out there, he needs to work on his quickness. Jay Williams shouldn't make the roster over Walsh or Storey.
-Nachbar was shooting pretty well and doing his job out there.

Wow, I had given up on Wright and he's playing great. I need to see him play great for the regular season too before I take back what I said.

tis true... BUT had we kept the pick and Rose, we would've been able to draft Marcus and make a huge splash in a much better free agent market. But whatever, I'm not complaining cuz what's done is done and I'm liking this new-look raptor team.

Anyways, sorry for cluttering this board w/ raptor talk... go nets!
