The Lakers can get a little revenge tonight in preseason action against the Suns. Kwame Brown will likely miss the game to rest his shoulder, and Sasha is a gametime decision. With the recent cuts of Douthit and N'Diaye, we should be able to see A LOT of Andrew Bynum tonight. He's the only healthy center left on the roster, so hopefully plays 25+ minutes. This is going to be an important game for Green and Pinnock. Both are fighting to make the next round of cuts, and they need to prove they're worth keeping ahead of Aaron Mckie and possibly Shammond Williams. The Lakers are 2-0 so far in preseason and can get some satisfaction tonight by beating Phoenix. Discuss the game in here...

If anything, it's going to be an even more important game for guys like McKie and Shammond than it is for Green and Pinnock

Raja Bell has 5 quick points, and Nash blew right passed Smush for an uncontested layup. Mo Evans just got an offensive rebound plus the and one.
Radman is playing some nice defense on Diaw so far. Bynum scores a nice bank shot in traffic. Suns up 13-9 right now. Lakers are cold from the perimeter.
I know it's only preseason, but if the Lakers want to win, or avoid getting blown out, they must slow down the pace. So far, it's one quick pass, dribble and shot
Mo Evans is clanking tonight. Turiaf is in to match up with Amare. Steve Nash is a badass with the basketball even with the new haircut.
Shammond bricks a technical foul. Wow no one can control the basketball, back to back turnovers. The Lakers offense looks bad right now. The spacing is off, and after the initial pass the ball isn't moving around. Amare with a flush!
Ronny and Amare is the best matchup so far in this game. They're going right at each other on both ends. Lakers are playing ugly, but keeping it close with offensive rebounding and getting to the free throw line.

Turiaf is doing it all for the Lakers right now. Passing, defending Amare, rebounding, and forcing Amare to pick up his 2nd foul. 1st quarter just ended ... 23-20 Suns lead.
Sasha is still out with a bruised left foot. Shammond is having another lousy game. Farmar has just entered the game, let's see what he can do with Nash.
Farmar set up Ronny for a wide open jumper, but Turiaf missed it. Then he set up Cook with a pass, but he turned the ball over. Devin Green just missed a wide open dunk. Suns back up by 5.
