Smush Parker led the Lakers with 18 points, going 5-of-6 from 3-point range. Shammond Williams and Luke Walton each added 12 points for Los Angeles. Lamar Odom, who played 24 minutes, scored nine. Ronny Turiaf had seven points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. The Lakers were coached by Kurt Rambis. Head coach Phil Jackson will return for the regular season after having hip replacement surgery. Phoenix was 22-of-26 (85 percent) from the foul line, while the Lakers were 8-of-14 (57 percent).</div> Source Box Score We had a much better percentage than them in FG and 3 point FG. Our free throw shooting sucked as usual. Turiaf, Smush and Luke seem to have played pretty good, but some of the other guys stats look pretty bad...
its all good we just lost by 8 points with them having a complete lineup hahaha and us playing without kobe, kwame and mihm
Their Defense Yah even though they still have things to work on with their defense, it looks to me that they are playing better D overall... If this was last year, they probably would've lost by 20 or so, but they were swarming on poeple like Amari and Nash. Of course you can't do that all night especailly with those players. They defenitley caused them to turn it over a few times... I still think that they need defend the 3 point shot a lot quicker; Raja was having a field day out there...
