they were obviously a powerhouse in the east if they made it to the finals twice in a row..... if that team went up with the detriot from last year and miamis they proabably wouldnt of made it

The Nets weren't the Spurs of the East but just a good east team. They were pretty beatable especially when they had the young team in 2001.
