Alright. Here's the truth. Vince Carter and Jason Kidd plays on one team. And that team is the New Jersey Nets! Here's another fact. The Nets will make the Eastern Conference Finals (injury free to the big 3 of course).[IMG]

Uh, I play my "The East was weak" card and gain 200 attack points. Seriously, name a team besides Detroit and Miami that are atleast something to worry about.

What a lot of you "Carter is the Nets" guys fail to realize is that if they lost or traded Carter they would UNDOUBTEDLY get someone else to take his place or help on the offensive end. So with Carter's hefty chain purse, they could get atleast 2-3 players to fill his shoes, maybe even a legitimate big.

I'll give you Cleveland, but even then the Nets would have won the Atlantic. There is no one to compete with the Nets in that division.

Washington wasn't so much of a powerhouse team, nor was Indiana. Hell Indiana lost to the Nets.

I'll agree that if Carter just somehow disappeared off the map and they got no one to replace that they probably wouldn't do as good. Problem is, that's not the case. That's not taking the situation realistically. They would get someone to fill Carters place, hell they might get plenty of players to replace Carter or like I said earlier, get a legitimate big.

The fact of the matter is, Carters importance to the team isn't as big as say LeBron to the Cavs or Arenas to the Wizards.

Oh, tell me you did not just say that. He's the leading scorer on New Jersey and he is a top 15 guy. Yes, Arenas and Lebron are more impactual on their team because they're younger but, they cannot just get somebody to replace Carter's scoring. You guys have no idea how good Carter is. Which regular player or whole bunch of players could do that without demanding alot of money, and you mention replace him. With who? The only other person that can do what Carter does is a top tier player, and you think they're going to want to go to New Jersey, if Carter isn't there. Whatever man. Once again, Carter gets no respect. Who are you, the All-Star game coach? Carter is just as legitimate as Lebron and Arenas ever was. Gimme a break.
