Powe played better then Ray tonight. P.S. Powe- 11 points, 15 rebounds, Ray- 1 Rebound, 1 Assist. But by far, Powe got more minutes.
I would like to see us finally value a big man for what he's worth, rather than overhyping the backcourt, as former guards (Ainge, Rivers) have a tendency to do. That being the case, Powe does need to play a little more before I'm ready to count anyone the winner of the last cut.
Big mistake if the Celtics cut Leon Powe. I can see how he might not fit their system, he's more effective in halfcourt sets, but Powe is a commodity in the NBA.
Shape I thought you might have to say something about this considering your Sig. I think I read something earlier that Doc said about keeping Powe on the roster will put up a link if I can find it. Does anybody actually know how many players are on the Boston roster right now?

That's counting Brian Grant, although he hasn't shown up for anything yet this season, so I'm assuming he's done. That's leaves three to cut. Pittsnogle is an obvious choice. Akingbala is probably going to the Flames, and beyond that, we're almost certainly looking at Ray or Powe doing the same. If that's the case, we still have the option of keeping them around, and that might not be a terrible idea. I would love to see Scal's head splattered all over some rocks, but it looks like, once again, he will get a roster spot, because Danny was dumb enough to sink money into his contract. Damn him!
