Lawrence Frank describes the injury as a "cause for concern" and is already talking about backup plans "if Marcus is out for any time". In his first mailbag, Dave D'Alessandro of nj.com also addresses the development of Mile Ilic, the banishment of Jeff McInnis and the evolution of a deeper rotation.</div> Source Man, are you serious? These things are really gonna kill us this season if they continue. First Boone, then House, and now M.Williams.
Marcus Williams Injuried! <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nets guard has been diagnosed with a sprained left wrist. The injury occurred at practice on Tuesday. It's posted here already http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60366 I'll ask a Mod to merge them. ------- And to be honest this really sucks. Jay hasn't been impressive at all, and I would really perfer M.Williams being injured free. He is too important to us.
M. Williams is such a great player in the preseason. We've lost House and Williams. Hassan Adams is having troubles off the court. What else could ruin this season?
Jefferson ruptured a ligament in his wrist thats why he was out of the year. if its just a sprained wrist he will be fine in two weeks, i sprained my wrist like three times i shuold know lol
Here is a small update <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Nets have announced that Marcus Williams will be out "indefinitely" with a sprained left wrist, which he jammed in practice Tuesday. However, Rod Thorn said there is no ligament damage and no need for surgery, adding "at first, it looked to be worse than it ended up being." Best bet is that Williams will be out four to six weeks. Who will now back up Kidd? One possibility: Vince Carter. Another is Jay Williams, whose own recovery continues to amaze.</div> Source

Vince is playing point guard at times. I guess Lawerance Frank wants him as thier 3rd or 4th playmaker.
<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Losing Boone, might be worse than losing Williams at this point.</div> Definatly, we have much more guards than we do big men.
