<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">All-star forward Kevin Garnett lost his temper during what turned out to be an extended practice at Target Center.

During the team's scrimmage, Garnett began yelling at teammate and friend Trenton Hassell. It was unclear what provoked Garnett, but Hassell said little in retaliation. Practice resumed when Garnett calmed down, and when the scrimmage was over, Casey asked the media to leave for a few minutes, during which time Garnett spoke loudly to his teammates to wrap up practice.

Casey offered little explanation for the incident.

"(It was) two brothers discussing things, talking about things," he said. "Nothing we haven't seen before. It's over, done with, dead subject. It's part of being on the playground."

I wonder what that was all about. But like Casey said, it's no big deal. It happens all the time in competitive sports. Just glad to see Garnett show some fire. Maybe all the losing is starting to get to him?

All these years and still no sign of a championship? I`d be yelling too. Glad to see KG showing, like Brian said, a type of fire.

KG has always shown fire. A championship just hasn't resulted and to be honest his teams haven't been so great. But we'll see what he can do with this mix of players.

well it says that they were just "two brothers discussing things", maybe the media just tried to make a big deal out of nothing.

sounds like a big deal out of nothing. Players "yell" at each other all the time. I doubt it was anything more than frustration or some little thing.
