<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">> ON THE MEND: Speedy Claxton is making a speedy recovery from the broken finger he suffered a week before the start of camp. His cast came off last week, and he has spent the past two days participating, on a limited basis, during practice. Coach Mike Woodson is optimistic about Claxton making his game debut before the end of the eight-game exhibition schedule. "He hasn't had any contact work," Woodson said, "but he's doing some things on the floor now, and that's a good sign. ... We're not going to rush him at all."</div>

Claxton can be big for them this season, he's a nice PG, and is also good defensively at pressuring the ball and getting under guys skins. When he first came to NOH, he was averaging 9.6 Assists PER 40 minutes for those 16 games. Last season he averaged 6.7 PER 40, but obviously playing a lot with Paul another PG had something to do with that. He had more of the scorer role when he was on.

His mid-range jumpshot is also quite nice, though he doesn't have consistent 3PT range.
